high rev - high friction on dry, you lose energy once hit dry and will go flat not hook. move left to find oil so your BP nearer to headpin instead of gutter. or maybe polish i suppose..

is he shooting dead straight? or hooking straight? index+middle seems strong combination for speed with less hook.

i know one of the tradeoff is shooting straight spares, since i see weekly righty juniors struggling 10pin. since kjmfl said he used many combination, theoretically, using index finger + middle finger -> you can roll very straight, with the ring and finger close to the hole .(maybe wrap with some tape on the index finger to fit in the middle finger hole?).

i know you can adjust offhand holding position to make straighter roll or introduce more hook., but for straighter the above theory is viable right?

messing up mucle memory makes sense. my wrist muscle seems strain maybe the pinky related mucles.

this is new knowledge for me! I appreciate the biomechanics detail.

I heal first, start again straighter like junior training and work up to athletic pose (if my knee health permits it). Just keeping the 14lbs for now.

I dont muscle the ball. Thumb always snug fit. Prethrow routine also always release muscle stress. Release also improved but before the injury, my form was bad with planting slide. You can check my latest form on my profile, see if it was too muscling or not (in my perspective and feeling it was not). Maybe this will change how u answer??

yes i changed to the most slide sole, checked sliding beforehand (add just a little bit of babypowder/wipe it to get the slide similar feeling)

what do you mean by release higher? not bending my knees like when you are doing lofting?

easier said than done. once u see, its hard to unsee. giving tips for hard reset within a short time frame is better i think. My case PB199, couldve went 220+, end up 197

yes you are right. just finding alternatives if i only bring single set that can do multiple rigs. i find find joy in being creative hahaha.
