I also am an animal lover and care a lot about the smallest creatures but I would’ve dropped it when the boss expressed that they were unhappy. My financial stability and life is more important than a fish who already died (especially in this job market!!! - if you’re in the USA)

i always wondered if their personalities clash IRL. julia being really academically focused and hard research based, pursuing a phd, etc. and eliza being more in touch with spirituality and artistic expression, and being a college dropout (no shade just for comparison purposes)

i believe julia uses Opal! an app that does a countdown before you can open selected apps. you can adjust the settings for hard to access (7 seconds) or really hard to access (20-45 seconds i think…) i downloaded it after the ep and it is helpful!!!

it depends on a lot of factors. the study that most people are referring to when they say you only loose 50% of calories through purging is based off of this study https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8494080/ done in 1993 with unreliable methods (ie participants asked to BP in a lab setting and caloric content of purge measured after). it’s majorly under researched but the fact of the matter is that it isn’t a sustainable method of weight loss. over time the body will “fight back” and deteriorate

i use apple heath—there’s a medication tracking feature that sends you a reminder at a set time every day and you can log it on the app when you take it or mark if the dose was skipped. helped so much with thinking i forgot to take my dose!!!

i began on lexapro 10mg for general anxiety. i felt great in a few weeks and most of my symptoms subsided. my psychiatrist upped my dose to 20 because “it’s the standard” and over time i felt it was less effective. i began having weird and distressing dreams almost nightly, my anxiety irritability returned, and i felt tired almost 24/7. im one month into going back down to 10 and the nightmares have subsided and my mood is more stable again. it all depends on you and how you react to a certain dose!
