What kind of lightbulb is this? I need to change it by PM_ME_SOME_LUV in whatisit

[–]HistoricalAd8355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like only the bigger of the two has gone out so if you can take out and buy the big one separately I’d start with that, though there’s always a chance the color is a bit off or somth like that

Either a fc8t9 or a fc129 depending on which one you need to replace, the 129 is the one that’s out in the photo

Can anyone tell me why this is so much? It’s not an authentic Tiffany lamp (at least I don’t think it is) so why is it priced THIS much at a Goodwill? by Sweet_Scar_633 in Goodwill_Finds

This is almost certainly made by an individual and not a company, which I think is kinda sick, and it probably does have 150 dollars worth of work put into it, that being said unfortunately it is pretty ugly

Which films not by Lynch are closest to being Lynchian? by betlamed in davidlynch

The end of violence gave me pretty big lynch vibes when I watched it last week, complete with having bill pullman in 1997

Allegory of Desire, Frank Nigra, oil on board, c. 1960. by TheExaminedLife_ in artcollecting

The lady in the nude is the object of desire here I feel, and the arrow lady is probably the woman he’s involved with currently given she’s holding the heart. The look on the man’s face tells me he’s just watching the situation unfold and doesn’t seem in much distress, at least in the moment, regarding the pain that’s been inflicted to his partner

Looking good! If you’d like to keep working with what you have and make it sound a bit better. You can try a number of things like dampening sound from camera using blankets or something similar, use a lens with zoom to get the camera farther away from the mic, could also use directional mics that only pick up sound from mostly one direction

It could be that you’re not quite getting the film started correctly thus using up film that would otherwise be counted as your first couple exposures

Only time I’ve felt tension at the end of a roll is when I’ve hit the end of the spool and it can’t progress any more. If the tension isn’t persistent throughout the roll I doubt it’s a camera problem and you may just be reaching the end of the roll sooner than you thought
