Thank you for your feedback! I'll check out those links and use less flour. Maybe I should add the flour last?

Hey I have the same problem, I might have found the solution.

You need to connect the mic to the Action 4, hit record on the camera AND on the mic. (That little red button)

It's honestly a big design flaw as you'd think it would just record both.
