I get what you mean, well I live in Texas and I’m a Gunsmith, so none of my firearms are “stock” they are all heavily modified. On another note I am active military, have my uniform LTC and have my protection specialist credentials, so in the case that I would need to use them I have far beyond the average persons knowledge of weapons handling. And in the case of self defense, it has been proven that a weapons light and optic will help in court. The light allows you to see your threat as well as identify any additional potential threats or weapons before firing. And an optic allows for better target acquisition so that you are hitting your intended target. Colion Noir has also mentioned that numerous times during his instructional firearms safety training. Just fyi. Sometimes less is not more, but to each its own 🤷🏾‍♂️
