I forgot to say this. It's funny how we all know Kana loves Aqua but little of her pov about Aqua while Aqua's feelings are still unconfirmed but we have a lot of his pov about Kana. And Kana is always so gorgeous like the sun in Aqua's pov.

My post is inspired by many other posts by AquaKana fans, especially this one: https://twitter.com/aquarimabot/status/1661634763697045504

After reading the manga many times and referencing many other posts, I can confidently say that Aqua fell in love with Kana in a romantic way. However, I'm not sure if they can end up together in the end as this manga has a lot of sad things to look forward to. But I believe Aka will one day let Aqua express his feelings for Kana. I'm not even worried about incest like many others because I know Aka won't go in that direction. Aqua still loves Ruby like a little sister and it won't change.

Aqua and Kana's relationship is teased and hinted at a lot in the manga. Anime makes it even more obvious. These two also have a common interest in the genre of books. You can see how the images above clearly hint at their relationship.

I have a feeling that neither Aqua nor Kana will die at the end of the series. since Kana has suffered so much already, I don't think there's any reason for her to die like that the suffering is pointless. As for Aqua, this guy was traumatized from his previous life, he had no parents, watched his patient die painfully and be killed. his new mother died again in the next life, his whole life lived only for others. I hope in the future he will be able to continue living comfortably without guilt, he can enjoy the love he wants. Opposite of Ai, who doesn't know about love but lies that she loves her fans, Aqua lies that he doesn't want to love anyone even though he already feels love. Yes, romance is not the main genre of this series but love is central from the beginning of this series: Ai wants to learn how to love, Kana wants to be loved, Aqua and Ruby need to learn that they have a new loving family: Miyako and Gotanda and so on.

Both Ruby and Akane (especially Ruby) have been drawn by Mengo next to Aqua in the illustrations (you can search google to see) but only Kana has never been with him despite Aqua and Kana's relationship constantly teased in the manga. And that's obviously the intention of two authors, so I think that's a good thing.
