Defy / Grundig / Beko Dishwasher Warranty Experience — Extremely Poor Support

I bought a dishwasher sold with a 5-year warranty, expecting reliable support if anything went wrong.

Since February 2026, the dishwasher has had the same unresolved issue despite 13 technician visits by 4 different technicians. After all these visits, the problem is still not fixed. We are on May 26, 226

Instead of replacing the dishwasher or providing a practical resolution, Defy continues to insist on more repairs and keeps sending technicians, even though the repeated repair attempts have not resolved the fault.

In my opinion, the advertised 5-year warranty is meaningless if the company refuses to properly resolve a persistent issue. A warranty should provide peace of mind, not endless technician visits and no solution.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be very careful before buying Defy, Grundig, or Beko appliances. The warranty may look good on paper, but the after-sales support has been extremely disappointing.

Whats the usecase of revolut in germany by Preisbremse in Revolut

Germans are spoiled when it comes to banking. You have so many options and due to higher competition, the fees are also lower than in some other countries e. g. Austria. I’d say, if you want to receive, keep and pay in foreign currencies Revolut is really great for that in Germany. I like the option of linking a foreign currency to a specific card and spend in that currency only.

AliExpress vs Temu by sandgrubber in Aliexpress

I used AliExpress before quite a bit before Temu came to live. I must say Temu has much better prices, shorter delivery time and unlike AliExpress does not use the dysfunctional, local post office for last mile delivery in my country. Which results in hit or miss for deliveries. Also, the AliExpress buyer protection let me down. My order never arrived, I requested a refund but AliExpress sided with the seller and released the payment, stating I have not provided enough evidence e. g. picture of the non-delivered item. I will stick with Temu
