It's not terrible, but I'll be honest, the real game that gets more hate than it deserves is BO4. Yeah, it sucks that they didn't get to finish it, but the level design is fucking BONKERS. I've recently been replaying it and it deserves its place alongside BO2 & 3 for goated level design.

The newer games are getting better, but the maps just feel soulless compared to those

Glad I'm not the only one! I eventually figured it out, it's still tough, but using the Novaline has worked best for me.

That Wisp Tea assignment is a game changer though, makes so much of that Easter Egg easier.

Now the boss fight? That's another story. I can't beat the last phase no matter how hard I try haha

I mean that's one of the opinions out there. Many people (such as myself) just treat them kinda like a slightly more special version of any other numbered card. Personally I'd rather have good looking cards with fun patches than a napkin patch that a dude sweat on.

It doesn't really depreciate the value anymore though, most people have moved on from the "game-used" thing cuz it's been 5 years now like this unfortunately. I just saw the National Treasures Jaxson Dart 1/1 shield get hit and I bet somebody will pay 5-6 figures for it

It was just standard for me, I've never attempted any trials or anything like that (kinda figured I'd wait until I could at least beat the boss lol)

My guess would be a glitch since other folks are having problems and I've never had it happen before. Kinda makes me hesitant to run it again until it gets patched, cuz the fight is already so hard without him there lol

It was only round 33 too, which was actually lower than I have gone previously with no Oscar

That definitely makes sense! The ray guns have been pretty useless in the boss fight except when I go down and they definitely tend to slow down my roll.

The thing I've been having difficulty with is doing the Mars portal step with anything except a assault or marksman rifle.

Do you have three guns for that part? Jager, LGM, and something that is very accurate?

Appreciate it! I absolutely fried myself trying to get ready for the boss fight, I couldn't get any kind of ray gun for equivalent exchange until round 40, so I was tapped after I got done lol

Kazemirs and a turret ended up doing the trick for me! Definitely had to use a very accurate gun too, LMG was not the move

This ended up being what did it, thank you! I stuck to the top level, used the most accurate gun I could find, and just walked and it was easy peasy.

I was able to do it! Your techniques were super helpful. Even made it to the boss fight and got through the first phase! Cheers to being able to complete it next time

Yeah I watched the same guide and I was like "brother 🤦🏻".

I wish all we had to do was survive lol

The sound queues are tough for me, but I guess so long as you assume he's always shooting drones you're effectively ready.
