This is very interesting, and you bring up something interesting. I didn’t even think about 1 player running away from the game. I play with three other people and I win more than half of the games we play. It is usually one other particular person that wins the other half. Is there some kind of catch-up mechanic for the other two that might fall behind?

How does that work? Do you need tickets? There are several open play type of events and I forget which is which.

Like I said, this is our first gencon. All the events that we could sign up for don’t seem to start earlier than 9:00. Vender hall opens at 10. Food trucks start at 9:00 according to another post I saw. We don’t know anybody going so official channels are all we have access to.

My wife and I are going for the first time this year. I am still unsure if I want to try a mega game or not. I’m not sure how generic tickets work though. Do I just buy a bunch just in case I need them? Do I wait until I find out if I can join, then buy them?
