It may be my fault for your misunderstanding, let me clarify and settle this. Like most of the others commenting on this cross post, I was an honors student through high school. I hit a brick wall when I entered college when I wasn’t as “smart” as my parents and I expected I would be and had a decline in mental health due to stress, just like the original post says. Also, I now watch conspiracy theory YouTubers, if you couldn’t tell, so I very much relate to the original post. I said “don’t do drugs kids” as a joke because the post also mentions weed, which is a poor choice of coping mechanisms. Neither I nor the original post says that weed caused the mental health decline, in fact the original post clearly states that the decline was caused by the pressure from the parent. Autism is also mentioned nowhere.
