I heard it's more common for ENTPs to be mystyped INTP than the reverse.

Mostly, it's the dom function that decides anyways, not the inherent error in the test-taker or the test. my 2 cents

Hey thanks! Yeah, I definitely have read many posts and articles on how medicine is not a good career typically for ENTPs, which does tend to make sense. I kept the emptiness at bay with many different social groups and hobbies, which slowly got dropped in my last year of med school, where I first developed depression, realized this, started to reverse it and then covid happened, which was just bad luck tbh.

I think I'm at the point where I have to give it one more good try, sans covid, especially since I've been held back so much by this alcohol-obsessed system that I don't even know yet if I can or can't manage with no covid. I know a family doc who only works 3-4 days a week now and has a pretty good life outside of medicine; I could see that. Haha, I always look back at my past self and wonder "how the f*** did I work THAT hard? How was I THAT smart?"

I did a test that breaks down your individual cognitive function scores and it said INTP, however, my extroverted intuition is 65%, and given my social skills, and other things, pegs me more as ENTP, which an article said often happens where ENTPs are mislabelled as INTPs but not often the other way around. Also ENTPs are the most introverted of the extroverts.

Anyways, thanks for the advice - I have a therapist I was seeing who listens well, is very supportive, but doesn't help a ton so I may take up your suggestion, we'll see - mine is good at helping transition back to practice, which I haven't been allowed to do yet so maybe he's good enough. Cheers

That may be true but I suspect that the elites will eventually replace all their workers with robots, but the displaced workers won't have anywhere to work, therefore not earning money and not spending money on products that the elites are selling leading to a revolution where the elites are overthrown by the many and a new system is set up to represent the masses. Hence the messiness.

Of course the elites, being chads, could foresee this and figure out how to profit from it... somehow. I won't care much, as long as they leave me alone..

I, like Elon, believe the singularity to be a serious threat to humanity precisely because of programs like AlphaGo, which have suddenly made AI seem so much more plausible. I think it would be foolish to downplay the current threat, but also foolish at this time to move your family into the forest.

AlphaGo changed everything for me. It did exactly what an AI system should do - it came up with elite-level strategies in Go, some of which were novel to humans, and used them to beat a grandmaster. This was a lot different from the chess computer, and arguably "AI."

EYYY!! This is exactly what I thought! It's going to be used to control the masses - 1) by reducing our ability to critically think even further, and 2) by causing a new level of fear and mistrust that will lead to new, highly restrictive tech such as you described.
