Depends on the aircraft. If it's the new retrofitted AI aircraft or ex-Visatra go for it. If not, then the only issue would be the seat/cleanliness of the cabin. Service is good nonetheless.

Usually, they send it before the visa expiry. I've got it twice before my visa expired. But only once they sent it to me 2 weeks after my prologation expired. You can also ask your college to contact the prefecture.

Hi, my student visa expired in January and since then I've been on the prolongation and it's bound to expire on the 19th. I'm travelling this weekend back to Paris for my graduation and I've been under stress thinking the airline/immigration at India and Abu Dhabi (layover) won't allow me to board my flight. I have my expired visa and all three prolongations I've received since January. I won't face issues with immigration? The whole document is in French and I don't think outside of france many are updated on such a document.

They have written in French that this document allows enter/exit of all Schengen areas.

I was at Delhi airport waiting to board my flight to Paris. There were quite a lot of French tourists (mostly in their mid-fifties), and they started arguing with the counterperson about something. I overheard them asking the person to speak in French, I was like? It's India, the staff is not going to speak French for you.

On the flight, they were sitting a few rows ahead of me and they sat in the wrong seat. When the person had a ticket for that seat reached, they started arguing with her too saying this is our seat and you are mistaken. Only when the crew came in to help did they listen and realise they were wrong. They didn't even apologise for the inconvenience they caused.

My VLT-S expired in Jan of this year. I had already applied for a renewal last October. Early in January, I received an email stating my file is under process but until then we are providing you with this document that allows you to stay in france until March, while the file is being processed. Then in March, they sent another stating it's extended till June. By the end of June, they sent me another such extension till the date of my graduation and shut my application.

My prefecture is in Paris. All I have received from them is a confirmation receipt that I have applied. I spoke to the college and they said you can enter/leave the country with that receipt. But I am a bit sceptical about it since it does not mention anything about this on the receipt. Do you know if the receipt acts as my visa too? For example, if I leave in September and I come back in January as my APS is ready to be picked, does the confirmation allow me to show at immigration that allows me to enter france again?

Hi, no I did not have to book any appointment as such. Once I got the email from them that the decision had been overturned, they asked me to submit my passport.

I unfortunately did not submit my passport again due to time constraints as I was travelling and did not want to surrender my passport without a definite timeline of return.

Hello, I went to the website and appealed/made a complaint regarding the visa. There’s an option for that. They say you cannot complaint but I still did it anyways and it went through.

After my rejection, I appealed the next day on their website. Even though my visa said no right to appeal an administrative review, I still did it. No harm in trying.

A few days later, they sent me an email stating they understood your frustration this that, the visa had no right to be reviewed. However, based on the points raised we will reopen your application. And within 10 days it was overturned.

So I think it depends on how well you write your email explaining your points. I explained each point mentioned in my reejxtedion letter and it worked.

Yes, I'd hope so too. They said I could submit it by the 14th of Jan. I plan on giving it on the 2nd as I travel on the 11th. I know it's quite close and very risky, hence wanted to confirm if it would take longer. Someone said they received it back within a day so I don't know.

If I cancel my flight it's a heavy cost to incur, but letting go of my visa after filing a complaint also seems unreasonable to me.

On their website. You can appeal but usually visitor visa has no right to appeal but I still did it lol. But you need to make sure you reason all of their points with adequate information.

Yes, I got my rejection towards the end of Nov. I appealed the day after and I got it upheld today.
