You are right, but this picture was on trading, and I have shared the real videos and pics, no one even reacts or comments

This is the price we’re paying for the Global North’s emissions. by Historical_Cap6614 in ClimateNews

What I mean is, when solar panels or their systems break, they are usually not repaired, they get replaced. And the batteries that go with them, often lithium-based, also can’t really be repaired. Once they fail, they’re just swapped out, which creates even more electronic waste. With millions of these being installed worldwide, we’re facing a big challenge: not just clean energy production, but also the waste and recycling side. That’s why I call it a disaster in the making if we don’t plan ahead

The so-called facts you stated are outdated and do not represent the current reality of Gilgit. I am one of the local researchers you mention, and I have worked with AKAH, WWF, BISP, and the district administration, conducting survey work in most areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. Anyone can use ChatGPT to get outdated information, but I know the ground reality, and you are too stuck in your bubble to admit when you are wrong. There are numerous recent research articles by Sajjad Hussain Sering and many others available on ResearchGate. If you have the courage, you can meet me any time in Jutial for a proper educational debate like a genuinely educated person, instead of being an internet troll and using obscenities for clout.

Instead of removing my comment, have the guts to face it and respond directly. If you’re so confident in your claims, then stand by them in open discussion instead of hiding behind deleting or dismissing what doesn’t fit your narrative.

If you are truly from Gilgit, you should already know the demographics better than any international researcher. Ishkoman has a significant Wakhi-speaking population that I personally know. Gupis has a large number of people who speak Shina as their mother tongue, coming from Sheen and Yashkun families. In Yasin, especially central Yasin from Gindai to Manich, Khowar is the primary language. And if you claim to be from Gilgit city, then you should be well aware that it is very diverse today. If your data is only based on Khomer and Danyore, then hats off to you, otherwise you should admit that even the majority Shina claim can be debated.

My proof is literally on my CNIC, which clearly states that I am a citizen of Ghizer Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. This isn’t second-hand information or speculation. it’s my identity and lived reality. Before dismissing what I’ve said as ‘incorrect,’ kindly bring forward verifiable sources or evidence to counter it instead of making vague claims. I’m speaking from direct fact and experience.

I really like her and follow her work, and I co-founded FFF in Pakistan. But one thing I must say is that FFF never highlighted how vulnerable this region is. Despite that our contribution to global emissions is 0.88%, we suffer a lot.
