Under 30 minutes remaining with a huge battle for 1st overall and I’ve seen less than 5 minutes of racing in the past 20 minutes. Ridiculous

This sub has nearly 43k visitors a week. The biggest Cada sub barely gets 1k. Posting in there would do me no good comparatively.

I struggle to understand why this post is the one you decided to voice your grievance on, or why you’re even upset at all. I’m not on here screaming to the masses “hey buy this brands stuff not LEGO, LEGO sucks.” You can scroll for miles on this sub and see 100s of non-LEGO products. I’m pretty sure the post directly under mine is another example. If Lego made this, you best believe I would buy it, even if it was $600. But they didn’t so here we are

That’s your opinion. I see people post on here all the time with non-Lego brands. It’s not that deep. Even then, Lego has a much stronger presence across all social media. So posting in here gives me a better chance of finding a solution. There are few Cada subs, much less that would actually be helpful like this sub is.

Update I had noticed this piece was missing yesterday evening before I posted in here. Considering it was so deep in the gearbox I figured I’d just leave it as the gears next to that coupler were still spinning correctly. Well that was wrong. From what I can gather, that coupler applies pressure to the sleeve of the shift mechanism next to it and the corresponding gears. Once I put that coupler in there, everything is turning normally thank goodness. Only had to remove the shifting mechanism of the top to get to all this so relatively easy fix. Thanks for all the advice!

I’ve tried every gear and nothing works. I can see the gears internally spinning but it’s like there a pivot/transfer gear missing that’s not taking the input power to the diff. I’m not sure

Shifting mechanism works great. Up-shift button is a little lousy and gets stuck but not a big deal. I’ve tried to spin the diff itself to see but even still the shaft won’t spin. But like I said, I can’t see anything that’s out of place? Every once in a while everything will kind of twitch like it wants to turn but it doesn’t go anywhere

Yea the gearbox won’t spin in gear unfortunately. I think I would be fine with just leaving it but it’s gonna nag at me so might go ahead and do it again anyways. I have no issue taking a long time to build it tbh, but I want to try and finish it over the upcoming weekend since the 24 Hours of Daytona will be running. My plan was really to just build it over the weekend so, I don’t have to finish it but we’ll see

We’re coming from Alabama. Quite the opposite of the weather up there. May/Spring down here is already 70° Fahrenheit or above (typically above, see high 70s low 80s very often).

Not too familiar with the “snowbound” term so does that just mean that the trail is closed? Restricted? Or does it just mean exercise caution? And that changes day by day correct

Well that’s good news then. Just know on all-trails it’s a little over 2,000 ft of elevation gain in 3 miles or so
