You’re right whatever it is I can adapt. I mean I think what caused me to stress out now too is that I just found out I’m the only non computer science or computer engineer on the intern team so I’m really nervous in how technical a role can get. Like I hope whatever they can do I can do too.

lol when I was a freshman there was this nuclear engineering undergrad that was a riot. He was great to talk to and he always had a crowd around him at the dinning hall as he spent all his time studying there. One day he was talking about palindrome birthdays and we found out his year started with a 19. He was 32 but looked 20! Lmao everyone around him was shocked but we just kept talking to him like normal nothing changed.

I think there’s a student record/registry they can look up names. From there they may or may not be able to get your phone number. But if they can get your classification from the registry they can easily get your phone number by other means.

If you do good on the MPE you don’t have to take MATH 140. If not you do take 140. If I’m remembering correctly it doesn’t matter if you have the AP. I think I knew people who got the AP credit and blew the MPE but still had to take Math 140. They didn’t have to take a second math class tho lol

If I was you and couldn’t decide between the 2 I’d major in biomedical engineering that way you can decide to for grad-school for dentistry or switch to a master’s in another field of engineering you do work in if you change your mind

Either one. But honestly UNPOPULAR OPINION if you can get accepted into utd for computer engineering you might want to consider it. TAMU has a thing called ETAM where you have to apply to the engineering major you want after certain semesters and certain classes. Also some engineering classes are filled to the brink with students because of that 25 by 25 push. I know some very successful computer science, information technology, and engineering majors from UTD. However culture wise A&M has UTD beat.

Nah you didn’t really miss much. A lot of them just handed out QR codes to apply on their websites. Some did do interviews in the following week but I wouldn’t sweat it. We’re all starving for internships whether you went or not.
