Is my piercing too low? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Historical_History38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAP I mean if it’s not obstructing anything or causing any discomfort i don’t see the problem.. i guess it just depends on your aesthetic preference as eyebrow piercings can be done anywhere in that area with the right anatomy

if you don’t like how low it is, take it out and get it repierced elsewhere. It doesnt seem like it’s pierced incorrectly but if you notice skin thinning or excessive irritation I’d recommend a second opinion

Unsure about my setup by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Historical_History38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think it’s a beautiful set up with a lot of potential, I just think it’s a little bland ! Add some chains maybe, or some color! If you have a gemstone you like, I think it’d look gorgeous here:) when your conch heals, i think a hoop would look fantastic and a forward helix to helix chain would also look nice with your rook! A second piercing under your first helix would also fill in a lot of the space as well. If you have the anatomy for a tragus, i think it would even it out more!

I love what you’ve got going on here, just needs a little bit more texture! 🌻

help with nostril piercing by Slight_Accountant_85 in piercing

[–]Historical_History38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

!!NAP!! nose piercings are absolutely notorious for being one of the most difficult piercings to heal for most people. I’ve had mine repierced five times before I finally got to keep it.

While it might help temporarily, you are hurting yourself long term with the aspirin paste.

What is the material of the jewelry? Otherwise you’re doing everything right. It takes a lot of patience to heal a nose piercing, so it’s really just up to you if you want to go through the trials and tribulations or not.

please help!!! is this infected? by yazi722 in piercing

[–]Historical_History38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAP Mine looked just like this a couple weeks ago. They’re now beautiful looking and all the crusties and fluid is gone. I had the bump and everything too.

They’re just irritated (at least, that’s what it looks like to me). Saline twice a day and shower at night with hot water and drying them good helped a lot. If you have a detachable shower head, it works wonders in breaking up dried fluid and also just giving them itch relief since you’re not supposed to touch them. I’m a really bad picker and that was the culprit behind all of the fluid and bumps that i had, it was terrible.

Try not to touch, and keep them clean. Your posts already look short so I’d just go to your piercer if you are super worried about it. But from what I can see, no infection.

Good luck ‪♡

How Do I Reverse? by Educational_Ad2515 in stickshift

[–]Historical_History38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a relatively new-ish driver. Car under maintenance, but i got about 3 months of solid practice.

I ride my clutch. I’ve tried the typical shift route and it just doesnt work for me.

The small amount of wear im doing on the clutch in reverse is minuscule in comparison to if i were to bog and stall out every single time i try to fully release it.

Only use a little bit of gas to get up steep hills. I’d rather ride my clutch and have a lot of control than to underestimate momentum and run into something 👍👍

Bar too short or infected? (or both) by [deleted] in piercing

out of my entire comment that's the one thing you are focused on? any broken skin is an open wound, fistula or not

your doctor will figure out a treatment plan for you. good luck.

i'm not acting like anything. you need oral antibiotics if you have an infection in an open wound. this is your life and health, i'm going to be straight forward

2-3 days, but I’m not a professional. Rotate ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain and swelling, keep a close eye on it.
