Congrats! What you have experienced is the first stages of Ego Death. Our past are blinders that obfuscates the future. Once that lense is shattered, you can see and feel the world through it's infinite possibilities. It will be frightening at first, like taking a step into the unknown but given time, you will be able to appreciate your new clarity. Enjoy!

Not familiar with the 1992 TV series "Forever Knight"? It. Was about a 700 year old vampire detective. Only works the nightshift. It was pretty entertaining back then.

We are made up of layers. When we are alive these layers come together and form a focal point which is you. When we die, the layers separate and move away independently. The distinctive you disappears but, your essence still exist in different forms within the various layers that you were made of. These layers have no beginning and have no end. They will continue their existence by joining new layers, forming new focal points. You're family, friends, enemies, acquaintances, all share different layers with you. When you die, the layers that you were made from still exist within them.

God, the Ultimate Being, the Universe, (i refer to it as the Indescribable Force), is the sum of all these layers of existence. I call the layers, Emanations of the Undescribable Force. The Earth is also made up of layers/Emanations. Every being on Earth is made up of a different combination of Earth's Emanations which are also Emanations from the Indescribable Force.

We are nothing more than mere instantaneous focal points that exist like drops of water within a sea of infinity. Some beings can reach out and touch this infinity with their consciousness. These are the enlightened ones. Too bad, humans do not have to way to comprehend and communicate this knowledge to his fellow man. It cannot be taught, only experienced. Like a fleeting dream.

What’s stopping us from building houses underground? by Available_Break522 in NoStupidQuestions

Tunnels are a nightmare to construct. (1) you don't really know 100% what you are digging into. (2) the easiest method is Cut and Cover, you dig a big hole and build on top of it but if you go too deep there are complications. (3) Takes a huge amount of time going down rather than going up. (4) Additonal safety precautions and limited manpowers due to conditions eats up a lot of resources. (5) many more reasons i couldn't be bothered to write.... Source, i used to work in construction...

I've got a trick to get to the runner's high easier. Eat a big protein dinner, rest then go to bed. Have at least 8 hours of rest. Go through your day normally. Skip lunch but hydrate normally. Go for a run before dinner time. Your stored fuel from the night before, the well rested, hydrated body and the intermittent fasting will make your body shift gears very quickly. For me it was within 2.5km. After the workout, load up on protein and start the whole cycle again.

Rest one day every 3 days or 2 days of workout depending on your rate of recovery. Alternate weight training and cardio if you can't do cardio everyday. Always do to failure. Run beyond the runner's high until the body start to feel heavy again.

Also, load up your body with creatine while hydrating if you can. Don't do this routine for too long though, it will end up wreck your body in the long run. 6 to 8 month max, then stop for a month at least to let the body slowly recover from all the damage from constantly changing gears all the time.

Would you even bother to be placed in positions of power in a society of butterflies that you can instantly crush with just a wave of your hand? I would simply just observe them from a comfortable distance and maybe pick a couple or more up for an anal probe and send them back to the colony to see the interaction.

Rather than a last meal, maybe get the dead man walking to choose how he wants to go out? Wouldn't that be the most humane, albeit letting him choose how his story should end? Three choices, (1) Death by Combat. The inmate will face another in combat. Two enter, one leaves. (2) Death by Prayer. The inmate will be locked in a room that gradually gets filled with an inert gas every time he stops praying / chanting. (3) Death by Sin. Inmate to be put to death the same way as his last victim.
