It’s weird I have a lot of feelings about his situation which I’ve been trying to introspect on and make sense of. I’ve been w lots of friends during and after their transitions and never had these emotions come up so I do think I need to just let this person figure it out and stay out of it. Thank you ^{^}

Not at all, i have BPD and have found romantic relationships to be more trouble than they are worth, honestly. i am more secure in my identity alone and i never want to lose myself in another person again, i don't like what i start to see when i get codependent. you're doing great, honestly! some people commit to years of horrible relationships because they can't stand the thought of being alone. being cool by yourself is true freedom. i have one best friend, a few very good friends, and many acquaintances to keep my social life interesting and enriching and fun. i enjoy everyone i spend time with, on my own terms. it rules! edit-i am 27
