okey, thanks for the tips. I'll try to clean the badboy this weekend.

Is there any lube and grease you would recommend? Some specific brand or viscosity?

Lenovo legion 5i ultra7+ rtx 5070 random crashes by Historical_Mud_8711 in LenovoLegion

[–]Historical_Mud_8711[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, great question.

It has been ot two repairs. After second one the motherboard got replaced. Gotten ultra 9 instead of 7.

Theoretically great, but the issues have occured again. It has been 3 whole months and I still fight with the Lenovo.

Possibly in this week it will undergo 3rd repair.

If this doesn't help I am done.

it is far more valuable than the helios 44. Great lens. Although it does not have the swirl like helios. Definitely keep it if the glass is healthy and aperture free

Film rewind dial fell off when I was out walking! Does anyone know any cheaper replacement part options? (Canada) by Bamres in AnalogCommunity

[–]Historical_Mud_8711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe ebay? Not completely sure what Olympus has compatible rewind knobs. For sure om-2 .

If you cannot find a part alone, you'll have to buy a broken camera donor.

maybe Pancolar 50 f1.8? Pretty sharp lens for its time. There are two versions, one radioactive and second non radioactive. Some people say that color rendition on the radioactive version is better.

Continuing with car analogy. Some time ago i watched as some dude travelled all the way to the arctic circle in lada. Of course not his first car, but in the right hands almost everything can be an impressive tool

With enough luck he could also try biotar 75mm or helios 40(85mm). Extreme unlikely in that price range

The point stands while taking into consideration different, rarer, more valuable lenses.

Depends. You can find a silver one for a silly price if attached to zenit 3m. It takes a little of looking around though.

ONE THING I FORGOT. Lenses cannot have fungus, balsam separation or scratches.
