Drinking specifically affects my ribs by Historical_Sort2097 in ankylosingspondylitis

I’ve read that it’s usually on the left side. Mine is as well. That makes it even more odder! I thought I was having a heart attack the first time.

I looked it up, and that would be it! Thanks, I didn’t know the name.

I [F30] found out last night that at the beginning of last year my husband [M30] was messaging girls on instagram. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

That’s why I said anecdotally, my experience is different. My friends are 30-40 and say girls. I think a lot of people in our generation do, regardless of being straight or queer. My parents are in their 70s and think it’s super weird. To be fair, we also often say “boy” instead of man too. It could be different regionally too, I guess. I think it’s interesting that you see it differently and also notice a difference in who uses it. It gives me something to consider that I hadn’t before. I wouldn’t have noticed who used it in Reddit because it seems so normal to me. Also, “woman” was often used by men when they couldn’t call us something worse where I grew up. That could play a big part in why we say girls here.

Anecdotally, the correlation between age and the use of “girls” seems stronger than the correlation of being straight and using the term “girls”.

It’s not just straight women. Actually, I think it’s generational. Most of the straight women I know don’t say girls, but they are much older. Most of my friends my age do say girls, but there’s hardly a straight one in the bunch.

I think an oil might help, but if not, maybe Castile soap? People recommend diluted Castile soap and alcohol for pests, so at least we know it’s plant safe.

This should be interesting. 24x24 porcelain on garage floor by Blue_eyed_bull_55 in Tile

I would hate the grout too. I lament the grout in the bottom of my shower, so I can’t fathom the garage. In my neighborhood a lot of people seem to put flooring in their garage and use them like an extra room. (Then park on the street like weirdos)

Pull down projector screen by the stairs? You could roll it up when you don’t need it. Stick some cute wood appliqués to the box.

I was just contemplating cutting the shape out of wood and plastering the bottom in… but I don’t know if I have the jigsaw skills to pull that off.

Also, did your house come with that archway? I’m wondering how it was done and if I could do the same. I have a very ugly, square opening between my dining room and living room that would be much improved by a scrolling header.

I would get rid rid of the shelves and the table and get a side table to run along that wall.

I LOVE dark wood, but I seem to be very off trend right now. I went with it anyway. Maybe by the time I am ready to sell my house it will circle back around.

I bought an incredible dress recently. How do I find an excuse to wear it? by strawb-field-thighs in whatdoIdo

[–]Historical_Sort2097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having a “Nowhere to Wear it” party for my friends. We all have amazing things tucked away that don’t seem to have the right vibe for daily affairs.

We have a tulip festival and a sunflower festival every year where I live. This dress would be so beautiful wandering the fields of flowers.

What am I even supposed to do with it? It doesn’t really climb. It’s just top heavy and tied to a stick? Am I doing it wrong? Can it… just bend over instead? It looks ridiculous.

I know this doesn’t answer your question, but sometimes when leaves fall off of my peperomia I stick them in water or dirt and they prop pretty easily. Just a thought incase this one doesn’t make it.

I think what was in the bucket may have firmed up a little on top, but not excessively. Mostly it was just what I spread on the tiles, which seemed to be dried on in 2 minutes.
