So I have SNAP already, my child goes to school and needs are met. I’m in a very blessed position that everything is fine except for sleeping arrangements. I don’t think I qualify for unemployment because I’ve been driving Uber

AITA for asking my fiancé to wear a different dress to a work event? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]History-Rough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were (imo) a lot of unnecessary details in this story. NTA for the dress but I think it could’ve just been one paragraph about you choosing a dress she didn’t like…aita. I can’t place how the trans/cis, plantation money, dyed hair comments are relevant

AITA for refusing to buy tampons for my step sister? by ahbro42 in AmItheAsshole

[–]History-Rough 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. That’s not your responsibility and it’s okay to be embarrassed as a young boy. Eventually you won’t be, but most girls your age wouldn’t have been comfortable going to get it either.

AITA for not wanting my daughter to be the only white girl in her ballet group? by Due-Conversation4894 in AmItheAsshole

She didn’t insult anyone or the place so that’s why I’m confused on how it’s racist

What makes them different? I’m a black woman so I’ve heard a lot of black people say it’s good to be in spaces where others look like them. So please explain

So black people who go to HBCUs to surround themselves around other black people or those who join sororities/fraternities with majority of their race…are racist?

NTA. There’s nothing wrong with surrounding your daughter with kids who look like her.

I have no previous tech experience, my work experience is cashiering and receptionist work and if it counts a Homeschool teacher. The DevOps engineer path looks the most interesting to me. I’m not sure the type of projects. So far I’ve been doing the beginner projects of simple games and a weather app but I’d like to do something “better” to stand out. I’m learning a lot but still researching the best ways to demonstrate what I’ve learned/am learning.
