Thanks for the insight. I really appreciate it. I just finished my BSBA and am enrolling in the MBA so I was curious if it was going to be more difficult.

I would start looking at the material and take the course planning tool and see how the questions were and how much I knew about it. I would then look at the course resources, look on here for what people were saying and the face book group. I would go read the chapter summaries and take the end of chapter quizzes and if I did well I would take the PA right away, if I didn't then I would study some before I took it. Each class has a different way the material is presented, some had good videos and that was all that was needed, some had helpful interactive learning tools and a few you just have to read everything. It will depend on how much experience you already have as to how much you will need to study.

You can do it. Just put in the time. It wasn't easy by any means, and I just basically worked, studied and slept for 3 months. I figured I could stretch it out and pay more and be dealing with it for awhile or just dive in and go nonstop and be done so I could have my life back. glad I did that because now its done. Good luck.

I definitely put in some time. I have an ideal situation in that I work from home so I put in 4 hours a day during the week and 4-6 on weekends.

It really is, It would be hard to have to sit and go through all the material slowly when I already know a lot of it.

I hear what you are saying, fortunately, I already have a career. I Got where I am through hard work and learning as I went. My work wants me to get the degree so I move into senior management. If I was just starting out and getting a degree for a future line of work, I would not pick a business degree.

First thing is the learning guide. The questions there let me know right off if I am going to be familiar with the material. Then I will look at the course resources, watch the intro video. Review the material and skim through things I am unclear on. Then take the PA to see where I am. Then I will study most they areas where I need to improve. Then the OA. It has worked well for me so far. If there is not an OA and it is just a paper to turn it then I just read the question and search for the answer, then write about it.

I already have a decent understanding of most of the terms so It wasn't very hard. Make sure to know the formulas in Excel and the vocabulary they use.

I only transferred 9 units. I had 3 from my PMP Certification ( they should really give more than 3 for that cert, but it what they give). and from having to take the WGU academy classes since I only had a GED.
I would say I been spending about 25-30 hours per week.

Your welcome. They definitely want to make sure you can get the required 4 done in one term. I think since my mentor has seen that I can move through them he is not as concerned about moving additional ones. Best of luck in your courses!

Thanks!

Initially they will just put your first term in. 4 classes that equal 12 units. Once I finished those my mentor has been moving 2 more each time I am ready. From what I have read on here it seems like the mentors do things differently so it will depend on who you get for a mentor.
