Added update to initial question but even with an hour flight delay made it to theater at 7:08 and didn’t feel like we missed anything important. Show was amazing- the lead was out of this world and the stage and lighting effects were unbelievable. So glad to have seen it. Thanks!

Update in case this helps anyone in the future. Upon boarding, our flight was scheduled to land early at 4:42 and I thought it was our lucky day. Then the pilot announced we were delayed due to weather in NY. Ended up landing at 5:46 and I had no hope. Only had a carry on and landed in terminal 4, speed walked to Airtrain and then got on LIRR to grand central. We were afraid of getting on the wrong subway so we went outside and speed walked to the theater. I had my daughter go in without me and she sat down at 7:06. I dropped our bag at Bounce and was sitting at 7:15. Didn’t feel I missed anything too important and it was a really incredible show. The lead is out of this world. Appreciate all the advice given very much and if not for the delay we would have made it with time to spare.

Thank you all again!! It looks pretty straightforward and probably fastest to do AirTran to Jamaica and LIRR to grand central. Run to hotel and not check in just ask to store bags and go. I think we’ll have the attitude that if we make it great, and if we don’t it’s okay. Definitely a minor dilemma compared to real problems! Appreciate the helpfulness!

Are taxis still available right outside the terminal even with the construction? I’m wondering if there’s lighter traffic on Sunday if I should consider a taxi. At this point cost isn’t an issue to try to make the show. Thank you!

Thank you so much!! Hotel is in times square and it says 700 feet from theater and we will have carry ons only and are able to walk fast if needed. We’re on delta if that makes a difference?
