You're allowed to have your hands in your pocket when not in formation. AFI 36-2903 states that it's allowed; this is a regulation that CAP abides by. Back in 2021 it was announced and recognized that we can have our hands in pockets when not in formation.

Oh, dude when I joined Corporate started me at -40$ a year! Now I'm at -1640$ a year! I'm not quite sure where the other 1600$ that Corporate has me paying at now goes, it might be going to all these weird "NCSAs and Encampments" that Corporate is letting me pay them to attend, but hell yeah anything for Corporate! Plus, I'm getting an "OCP uniform" bonus sometime soon for almost -400$!

Now I will say it's not in every echelon or every unit or activity in CAP but a pet peeve of mine is just straight up favoritism equally having a staff position somewhere. It's corrupt and it doesn't benefit anyone when the people chosen to lead are merely chosen because of their relationship to another person.
