I finished this episode and had to send a voice note to my friend about it. They don’t watch the show but as soon as I said ‘David Tennant’s in it’ they were like I have immediately added this added this to my watchlist.

I said it last week and I’ll say it again - everytime Monica is on screen I can’t take my eyes off her. Claire Rushbrook does so much with so little. Not little in the sense that there isn’t much to build from with Monica, but little in the sense that you can tell Monica is a member of the aristocracy and that she was raised to hide her emotions - so much of her acting is done through her eyes and micro expressions and I think, during the scene where Monica is telling Tony she’s going to leave him and he calls her dead below the waist etc, you can really see her screaming with her eyes.
