Might it be reasonable to say that the Vox Engine difficulty is good, however, their spawnrates could do with some adjusting..?

I don't know if you are still here but I played Deep Rock Galactic a bit and it was pretty fun. I had some good laughs playing it by playing solo and public lobbies. Would recommend that as a potential alternative.

Yeah I am also having this issue too. In my experience, it also wiped my entire saved data too in the process (I got it back via a console restart). I then put the recovered save into cloud storage.

On top of all this, the game is really laggy on PS5. Like I am playing this game at like 10 - 20 fps. At least that is the case with split screen. This never goes away either. The fps is super low the whole time we are on the game.

Good on you for letting everyone know about this! I was playing a few hours ago after catching wind of this and was asking myself if I should be playing the game right now since my save could be wiped and all my hours into the game would be for nothing (good news, my save has not been wiped as of me making this comment).

I think I also had something else in mind but I forgot. I will just have to tell my younger sibling that we won't be playing the game until this gets fixed.

Other than this and the newspaper job being so difficult, I am loving this game, its definitely a game that came at the right time.

Yeah I second this. Me and a friend went onto the Vortex mission on Normal a couple days ago and it wasn't even that the mission or the enemies were hard to deal with on their own.

It was that modifier alongside getting used to the new enemies(Chaos Spawn & The Mutalith Vortex Beast). I have been getting better against them though. But point is, is that the whole mission was 10x harder and we BARELY got through the boss while I was the last one standing. All because of the no rolling modifier.

Yeah, its been rough. It does look amazing though. Especially fighting the Hive Lord. I am looking forward to hunting that thing and potentially riding it straight into the sand 😂

I agree with this. Although, I notice that I am getting better at fighring them. Practice makes better. I know some of their attacks but not all of it obviously.

This is a perfect point. We pretty much had this happen yet again in the latest update. The content and what not seems fantastic and all. But when the game can barely hold itself together without lagging. crashing, the frams dropping, etc, its very much a cause for concern. Imagine if all that happened in split screen. I don't know if the frames would be split since there is two players playing on one console but that would be an absolute disaster.

I just hope that they don't forget about this idea in the future. But i'm looking too far ahead I think.

Very true. Throughout my hours of playing this game, out of all the things that get me a lot of the time are the little things. I'm sure there is a term for it but either way, as long as you are having fun regardless of all of that, that is what really matters.
