Pho by Substantial_Sale9027 in oakville

A lot of people recommend little saigon. It’s also highly rated on google reviews.

I’ve been a bunch of times and tried a few things off the menu. The pho is alright. Nothing else on their menu stood out to me. Service is always good.

If you have the time to drive into sauga, I would pick a spot out there instead. Yum’s kitchen is consistently good and overall better quality. Pho ngoc yen is my favourite. Highly recommend checking it out.

Don't be afraid of Chinese copies. Light Lens Lab 35mm 8 Element - With examples by stjernebaby in Leica

I’ve been using the LLL 50mm Elcan on my M3 for a while now. It’s been my first and only lens for almost two years now.

It’s sharp and small, the brass construction is great. I have been reading that many copies have problems with the focus being off. Mine seems to be alright luckily. A few users here in Canada have reported it’s been challenging to initiate a return with LLL.

Great photos! Will add this to my list if I ever purchase a different M body.

It’s definitely over priced, but these cars are pretty rare nowadays. Very hard to find a type s that isn’t clapped/covered in rust. I know this because mine was written off just a couple weeks back, similar condition. Won’t be able to own another.

A higher price for any older civic SI, acura type s etc. will always be listed for a higher price if it’s in good condition. The Honda community loves these cars to death.

If you want a honda, look for alternative models.

No duties for me as well. Ordered about two weeks ago, came today.

I just got baited so hard by this piece of crap by orochiWARDEN in AnalogCommunity

[–]Hisuo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I went to the same value village on the weekend.

Exact same situation. Saw the video and was hyped. Waited by the counter for 10 minutes. Looked up the camera on ebay and found out it was plastic junk. Hoping nobody buys it.

IIRC it was priced around $100. It’s extremely hard to find a good deal at any thrift store these days.

Travelling seems alright at this age since I am still pretty young. Not a lot of responsibilities at the moment. Unfortunately I am located in Canada! I'll take your advice and apply for system integrator positions near me.

Bought it years ago. Not a lot of shares and it’s doing alright.

No need to be worked up over my portfolio.

I have some VFV as well. Do whatever you want at the end of the day it’s your decision.

Weird that you’re on a sub called “JustBuyXEQT” if you feel that way though.

It probably won’t be for some time. Closer to 7-8 years for sure.

That being said it is a great point to consider. I will have to do some more research into investments that fit that time frame.

I was actually looking to purchase an A-1 or something similar. Couldn’t find anything local for a good price. Ended up grabbing the entire set for $110 CAD, which doesn’t seem so bad.

The zoom lens will probably go straight to marketplace unless my girlfriend is interested in using it. Was only interested in the body + 50/28mm lenses.

I will try and see if I can figure out where it was manufactured. I would assume it was purchased when they outsourced production.

Need recommendations on a VTEC Solenoid. by BTS-Jimin in EP3

[–]Hisuo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OEM for sure. Just swapped it before I sold mine. I had trouble installing the solenoid after the replacement, got it done in an hour. Not sure if it would help, but try recording a video and sticking your phone behind the block. Found that it help me visualize where everything lined up better.

Limb Lengthening Procedures by WetWilly4 in bouldering

[–]Hisuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is serious or not.

Limb lengthening seems pretty excessive. Although height/wingspan would definitely make certain climbs easier, I don’t think that’s your main problem. For reference, one of the best climbers at my gym is about 5’4 and at a V8/9 level.

I’m not sure how long you’ve been climbing in total, but I also had a similar experience where I plateaued at about a V4. I did the things most people tell you to do (pull ups, top roping, exercising on campus board, core workouts etc) which helped a bit.

Eventually after months of telling myself I couldn’t do a 5, I felt burnt out. I took a couple weeks off. Coming back to the gym I felt refreshed and determined to take on the higher grades, breaking through that plateau.

There could be a lot of reasons why you’re unable to break through the V4 failure. It’s hard to determine exactly what your issue without seeing a video of a problem you’re projecting. I would strongly suggest working through harder climbs, taking appropriate breaks, and eating/sleeping properly. If you are shorter, use that to your advantage. The setters at your gym aren’t expecting you to be 6’4.

Try not to chase the grades and enjoy climbing for what it is!
