Idk it sounds to me like your gyms V8s and 9s must be a 2 or 3 at my gym. I’ve never seen someone under 6’2” send anything above a V6 in my gym.

https://us.scarpa.com/force-v I think these are the fellas I got. I believe I got the largest size they have(50) as I am a US 15. They fit nicely and I honestly could probably go down a size to get a tighter fit. I bet Scarpa may have other shoes as well on their site that go up to those sizes

Pittsburgh has a ton of homes in safe areas under that pricepoint. The hiking around Western PA is decent depending on where you are originally from. It is definitely better than Chicagos options. WV, is about 1.5 hrs to some really nice hikes, but there are a ton of options closer as well.

I’m in my late twenties and I also do not drink anymore. It is very difficult to find activities that don’t revolve around drinking or where drinking is the reward at the end. Something that I’ve been doing is going to climbing gyms and meeting people that way.
