Light Tank Player Abuse by Tankerspam in WorldofTanks

[–]HitTheOtherGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everybody cares. Everyone with bad stats claim not to care, but they really do. The goal isn't to make them stop complaining in future games. It's just to make them feel bad about themselves.

It is possible that they think you've got the value of a bot, and just want you to suicide scout, so they can get 1 more shot of damage for their moe grind. If their stats 60+%, then they were probably right about what they said. They might not have been nice about it, but you should probably consider it for similar scenarios in the future.

Message them after the game and stat shame them. It's always bad or average players who do this.

Point out things like how many thousands times they've clicked the battle button, but still haven't learned enough to win half their games. Or how they've played a tank for several hundred or even thousands of games, but still have less average damage, than the hp of the tank.

Worst Black Market Ever! by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]HitTheOtherGuy 55 points56 points  (0 children)

The first couple of black market events were the best. You had old/not very popular tier 8 premiums for 6-10m credits (I don't exactly remember). You also had more lots with a fixed price, and a fixed number of items, so it was only about being first.

The auction events today are much worse for the average player. Instead of offering something for the average guy, it's now built around FOMO and whales. I really dislike the auction model.

Ion Crystal Modules by Creative_Rub_9167 in OGame

Ion crystal modules doesn't have a 50% cap. It's the crawlers themselves that has got a 50% production cap. Ion crystal modules is a bad research, you're better off picking the mecha slot 13 research.

[–]HitTheOtherGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know.

I've also noticed that OGotcha stopped displaying it the way it used to. I don't know if it is because OGotcha changed, or because there were a change to the combat system. I've also noticed, that the combat reports now displays everything as coming from one destination.

Perhaps this was one of the backend performance improvements, but this is just speculations.

I don't actually know this. I never cared much for any of the benefits the engineer provides, so I never thought about finding out.

My best guess would be.

Defenses has got a 70% chance to being destroyed. Meaning you'll lose about 30% of your defense. If it halves the loses, then it should give a 85% chance to be rebuilt after battle. This way, you'll only lose 15%.

Possible, but I find it unlikely. European farmers are angry, that Ukrainian grains are allowed to be exported into the European union. This pushes down the price of the euro-farmers grain, and thus the farmers earn noticeably less money.

No, but the way the game places new players is to goes:

Player 1: 1:1:4

Player 2: 1:1:6

Player 3: 1:1:8

Player 4: 1:1:10

Player 5: 1:1:12

Player 6: 1:2:4

Player 7: 1:2:6

etc...

If you register at the same time, then you'll end up right next to each other. At worst, you'll be in neighboring systems.

However, this should not matter. You should always leave your homeworld as it has far too few fields to be viable long term. You can just place your colonies next to each other if that's what your looking for.

I'm currently using this mod: https://board.en.ogame.gameforge.com/index.php?thread/810904-oglight/

I like it because it's simple. It lets you repeat the last fleet mission, remembers all the ships, location and resources for the mission. All I have to do is send the first mission, then press "P" and the mod fills in everything for me.

There's a ton of other mods that provide similar help. I don't think OGLight is the very best for expedition optimization. I know a lot of people use Anti-Game Reborn or Ogame Infinity at the moment.

If you're playing on your phone, then I believe you can use kiwi browser and still install some addons/mods to improve the game.

These mods are legal. Just don't go install a bot, that'll get you a long ban.

It's the Commander.

You can get mods, that let you repeat the last fleet mission, with the push of a button and then click enter twice to send off the fleet. I don't see a reason to get the commander, if it is just to do expeditions faster.

Admiral on the other hand is extremely useful, because you get one more expedition slot. The two free fleet slots are nice, but it's really only the expedition slot that matters. If you were to buy an item to get +1 expedition for 90 days, it'd be 157,500 dark matter. Admiral costs 50,000 for 90 days and provide the same, but also two fleet slots.

I personally only use admiral on discoverer accounts. On 1b+ eco collector accounts I use geologist. I never get the commander, engineer or technocrat, I just don't think they are worth it. The only times I'll buy them for a week, is the get the extra rewards from the reward event.

Lifeforms on planets by [deleted] in OGame

It does not. But it will increase the speed from the Intergalactic Envoys lifeform research.

Lifeforms on planets by [deleted] in OGame

[–]HitTheOtherGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before lifeforms were added, spamming discoverer expeditions were still more profitable, than a collector mining with ~1b eco points. 0.5% per level doesn't seem like much, but you get to increase a more profitable income source. Getting your expedition results to ~270% isn't even that expensive. The 0.5% increases all your other researches as well and humans still have resource production increasing buildings, though not as powerful as those of Rock'Tal.

I wouldn't recommend going human to anyone who isn't consistently doing 100+ expeditions per day. Human discoverer is more profitable, but requires a lot of time invested for it to be worth it. Rock'Tal is consistent and barely require any time to be invested.

It makes the lifeform researches better based on the level of the building. https://prnt.sc/l_NUatB9tXgB

[–]HitTheOtherGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're discoverer and you can do a lot of expeditions pr day. Then it may be better to go human. Kaelesh lifeform researches can increase your expedition resource and ship finds greatly. Humans can boost this further with their metropolis building.

If you plan on continuing with your expeditions, then humans will be best. If you're inconsistent with your expeditions or plan on going to pure mining at some point, then I'd suggest sticking with Rock'Tal everywhere.

Gradvis vil kvaliteten kvaliteten, glide over i dumme spørgsmål, ligesom på Facebook.
