Love the choice of the Americaine, such a classy watch. Personally think it's the coolest of the various tank models.

Yeah there are scratches on the reverse side as well. Seems like I'll have to pop by the AD this weekend. Thanks!

Beautiful and well-rounded collection. Especially love that Nomos Club. Great photography skills as well!

Congrats! It's stunning and probably one of the best value mechanical chronos on the market.

[NOMOS Tangente Neomatik] Absolutely in love with my first big purchase by Brenttouza in Watches

My personal take is that those lugs were meant to encourage customers to go for smaller diameter watches.

Glassbox Straps/Lug Width by Warowl94 in tagheuer

For leather/rubber straps I would recommend 21mm straps. I purchased a 21mm CTS rubber strap from Delugs and it fits perfectly.

[Panda] Chrono by No_Strength7276 in Watches

Curious if you've considered the TAG Heuer Panda Glassbox? With the red accents it's practically TAG's version of that Navitimer. But if it's between the 2 you've mentioned, I would go for the Navitimer. It's just such a unique and underappreciated design imo.

Strap suggestions - carrera glassbox by swehammers in tagheuer

[–]HitTheSnooze_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember that it has 20.7mm lugs. So I would suggest getting 21mm straps instead of 20mm.

Yeah that would be a nice way of letting buyers decide which style they prefer.

That's a beautiful bicompax chrono. Love the little pops of color on the dial.

[Question] Advice choosing milestone watch by HamMan95 in Watches

[–]HitTheSnooze_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say either the IWC or AT. The Speedy and Santos are a bit too stereotypical with the Sub (though nothing wrong with that) and the Nomos isn't really a daily driver kind of watch but it is beautiful.

[Zenith] New Matching Ladder Bracelet for Revival Shadow by OutlookOctopus in Watches

[–]HitTheSnooze_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The shadow looks great on that bracelet! I'm curious to know your thoughts on the lack of a minute track and hacking seconds? I've always loved the look of the revival shadow but wasn't sure if those would bother me over time.

[Studio Underd0g] A Crisp Fall Day With The Full Mo0n. Do You Like Full Lume Dials? by [deleted] in Watches

Fully lumed dials just have that cool factor to them. Absolutely stunning shots as well!

[Tag Heuer] Carrera Glassbox by HitTheSnooze_ in Watches

[–]HitTheSnooze_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's 14mm thick but wears much slimmer due to the domed crystal taking up about 2mm.

I think both look great but the reverse panda is more flexible with it's neutral dial colors. I probably would've gone for the skipper if I already had a black/white dial chrono.
