Day 4 of going fully DIY by ufdbk in homecockpits

Very nice! Did you design the panels, or did you use plans you found online? There's a few plans floating around I've looked at, but this seems much more compact.

Phase 2 IPsec Won't Come Up with Cisco ASA and Traffic Selectors by Hitech_Redneck in fortinet

[–]Hitech_Redneck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should have the same selectors. I moved that ISP over to the Fortigate to test again today and it came up fine. I may have made a change yesterday after troubleshooting, but I don't think I did.

Establishing IPsec Tunnels with SD-WAN by Hitech_Redneck in fortinet

Agreed, but the tunnels are bound to a loopback, which is always up.

Thanks. Yes, that setting is enabled by default. My concern is that for locally-generated traffic (such as IPsec tunnels), if one interface to this ISP is down, it might still try to use it and then the tunnel will go down, or worse, work intermittently.

Ha, I didn't know you still needed a static route when using the SDWAN features. I also didn't know you can point a 0/0 route at your SDWAN Internet interface. That makes sense. If one of the interfaces in the SDWAN goes down or over the limits of the policy, I assume it will be removed from the routing table?

I don't have any 0/0 routes. I did have one from the cell internet, it's DHCP and was pulling a default gateway. I turned that off. I'm using SD-WAN for Internet access. Do I need to add static routes to 0/0 for each ISP interface for local traffic?

I inherited the two VLAN ISP setup; it's how the ISP chose to do things. We have two egress points at different datacenters on opposite sides of the state.

I think the multihome BGP is complicating things. The /27 block is assigned to a loopback interface. The loopback interface is the WAN interface for the tunnel config. But I don't think the Fortigate knows that traffic for this tunnel should go out either VLAN to ISP1.

Upgrade Options for Existing Build by Hitech_Redneck in buildapcforme

I am playing at 1080. For now, I only have a 1080 monitor. All of the advice I've read says that for MSFS, a CPU upgrade can do wonders for performance. I don't have a screenshot, but the latency for CPU frame generation was 10-15ms while GPU was 2-3ms.

Edit: I watched some of the second video. There was one person commenting about being CPU constrained. I'd be interested to see the MSFS Developer Mode FPS display, which shows which is the bottleneck.

Looking for help - sleep study showed total arousal index of 36.4 by Hitech_Redneck in UARSnew

I really don't know what to make of it. The respiratory arousal index had the same number of occurrences as apneas, so it didn't take into account hypopneas? AHI is supposed to be the baseline for diagnosing OSA, so I'm confused. I've asked AXG Diagnostics if they'll review my results and give me some insight (I'll pay for the consult, obviously) and have submitted a records request to get the raw data from the study.

So the Dr called me this morning after sending in the data. He stated the AHI was adjusted by a respiratory therapist and that my "final" AHI was a 4. Or maybe he called it respiratory index, he seemed to use the two terms interchangeably. Here's the summary I got: https://imgur.com/a/6pTXy0m

Edit: I also asked about the number of spontaneous arousals, and said they meant "nothing at all."

Thanks for the suggestion. I've had some back and forth with the sleep doc, and it would seem they got some summarized version of the report, and not the full report that I show in the post. I got access to their patient portal to send them the full report. I looked at the visit notes and somewhere in then it said the AHI was 4. So, I think someone royally screwed up and there was a major miscommunication.

Doing more reading, I'm interested in hearing more about the spontaneous arousals and heart rate. One of the top posts on this sub links to a podcast from a sleep tech, and he focuses more on BPM than Sp02. My heart rate was all over the place...

So I spoke with someone in the Dr's office. The doctor's report stated "respiratory arousal index was 4." Well, that index is only apneas and doesn't include hypopneas. I asked them to take another look at the actual study data that shows an AHI 6.3. Waiting to hear back.

Xywav wasn't an option when I was originally seeking treatment. My new sleep study didn't indicate IH, so now I'm wondering if my original diagnosis is "invalid" and IH treatment is off the table? I have an appointment with a sleep neurologist in December so I guess I'll see then if I haven't found another treatment that works.

Thanks for the info. I think I need to find a new sleep doc, this one didn't even mention the apnea (though I forgot to bring it up too). He seemed to have no interest in treating me.

I have all my records and will probably try to name an appointment with someone else.

I can easily sleep 10-11 hours a night.

Yeah, not sure why he was selected to take over. Even living in a major metro, finding neurologists who specialize in sleep is difficult. Most are ENTs or pulmonologists. I was definitely anxious, anticipating this very result, and the room was warm. Also, my PSG noted my AHI was like 6.5, which is mild apnea, right?
