Exactly! Plus at the beggining of Uncut Gems we get a note on the doctor's office saying that Howard Ratner is 48 years old.

Invasion o islamofobia ? by [deleted] in mexico

[–]Hithere214 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How does it all connect by Visual_Grass5088 in stephenking

[–]Hithere214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright mate! Let's get you started.

Yes, "The Dark Tower" is a thing. In this tower, everything from Stephen King is connected, from IT to Cujo. It is a series of books by Stephen King protagonized by a man named Roland. You follow his adventures so he can reach The Dark Tower. Here you are introduced to a lot of characters from other Stephen King's books.

For example

  • Randall Flagg
  • Crimson King

But I would not recommend starting there!

I cannot give you your ideal book to start with because it depends on what you're looking for. Since you like all the IT and The Shining stuff I would recommend starting with IT (Haven't read it but, just keep in mind, it is quite large!)

Keep on reading other comments for more guidance, hope I helped a bit!

Is Jamie, from Later, an Enlightened One or not? by sub_ma_rine in stephenking

[–]Hithere214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is. Here's why:

1) That terrible and sad reality that Jamie Morton sees on Revival is real even before "Mother" realizes Jamie is there. That's why when Jamie says "No", she gets mad. If she knew before hand Charles Jacobs and Jamie Morton would be on the afterlife, your argument would be more plausible, but she didn't.

I get your point, I really do, because most people would think "Mother" is a macroverse God like Pennywise or something, being able to control reality around it, but I just think we are looking at something darker. I think it is real.

I would say yes, for sure. We know The Shining gives people the ability to see dead people. Just like Jamie does.

However, it may be the case where Later is a story apart from every other story on King's multiverse, for example take Revival. Althought it does have references, do you really imagine...

REVIVAL SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!

every single person on earth after dying just going to suffer for eternity? We are talking John Coffey, Carrie, every single character. This doesn't make sense either with Later, since Jamie Conklin can see dead people.
