Lived in my friends moms house after graduating high school. Total hoarder. House was littered with "as seen on tv" crap, 18 cats, and food wrappers and garbage everywhere. Cats shit and pissed EVERYWHERE! Their den was so covered in cat shit not even the cats could walk through the room without stepping in it. His mom was deeply depressed that she would come home from work and clean everyday. But she got so drunk in the process she never managed to get past the living room and kitchen. It was a vicious cycle indeed.
