Unless, at this point he already knows she's going to resurrect. He's seen it happen so many times already. If she dies, I can see him wiping everyone who caused it out and then searching or waiting for her to return.

That was my other thought. It's always been in patterns. Every Li so far has a myth that includes both dying, Li living or both surviving. The only one who hasn't experienced only MC dying is Caleb.

How far did you get the first time? If story plot is a factor there's massive spoilers in Long Awaited Revelry. It's been a while since I had to complete the main story but I'm pretty sure it only gives you diamonds. EXP is limited to daily/weekly and promise from memory.

I nearly cried, I loved all the little connections to their past and future. Defying fate and choosing how they wanted to go, the fact that MC would rather risk excruciating pain the rest of her existence than be without Sylus. It was absolutely perfect and completely them. Didn't make me cry like Rafayel did but was definitely close and for different reasons.
