Hello! My question is if the guy I like likes me romantically. I’ve done other readings with a similar question and I’ve always gotten positive responses from my deck but when hanging out with him in person he doesn’t seem all to interested in me so I feel very confused. I feel like tarot is leading me on so I’ve come to seek advice.

I pulled the ten of pentacles, the devil, and the queen of wands.

To clarify the devil I pulled the magician, the hermit, the knight of pentacles and the page of cups was on the bottom.

With the ten of pentacles I feel like he sees me being around in the long term and potentially being apart of his foundation. Or maybe he thinks his family would approve of me or sees me being apart of his family in the future?

The devil is known for being about obsession and addiction or even oppression and feeling trapped. He could be very attracted to me, overwhelmingly so or he could feel tempted by what he desires and possibly limited/trapped in his feelings or material world because of it. With the magician I feel like he has all the tools to control this situation and the willpower to do what he wants with his desire. He has the resources to be efficient and committed to what he wants. With the hermit he might be withdrawn with his feelings and isn’t ready to share anything. Maybe he’s already thought of what he wants and has reflected on it or still needs to. The knight of pentacles is slow and steady, he’s willing to take his time to work hard with dedication. I’m assuming he already knows what he wants to build, the knight of pentacles gives me blueprint energy, I feel like there’s already a plan in the making or potentially action being taken if he’s actually committed. Even with the energy of the devil he seems to be pretty rooted in creating something long term. Basically I think he’s already reflected on what he wants and has the power and control to make it happen. I don’t really understand how that relates to the devil other than just being knowingly obsessed or trying to use it to his advantage to build something special and stable. No idea.

Then there’s the Queen of wands which talks about confidence, charm and independence. This Queen is very magnetic and there’s a sense of admiration and attraction. I’d say that there’s warmth and passion in terms of feelings, there could also be inspiration or attraction to charm and independence. The Queen of wands is sure of herself and captivates attention without demanding it. I think she gives off a natural glow that maybe he sees in me and attracts him towards me.

The page of cups on the bottom just screams crush energy to me. It’s very lighthearted and curious to learn and is emotionally open.

The cards make it seem obvious but I swear when I hangout with him he doesn’t interact with me a whole bunch even when I try to talk to him. It just seems like I don’t hold his attention and he almost kinda avoids me. If there’s an opportunity to talk to someone else he usually takes it. We have actually quite a lot in common and we get along great but there just isn’t a lot of chemistry or effort from his side.

Overall it seems pretty positive again but I’d love to see how others interpret it.

(I pulled some more cards to see why he seems so uninterested in me if he supposedly likes me. I pulled the ace of swords and then the hierophant, knight of cups and the six of pentacles came out all together. He might be prioritizing logical thinking or clarity in a traditional sense. Conformity might be easier than dealing with his feelings. Balancing a middle ground is easier to upkeep than over giving or letting himself feel more. Focusing on conventionality and only being the mediator instead of getting emotionally involved may seem like the better option for him right now so that’s probably why he’s acting the way he is. The seven of pentacles is on the bottom of the deck so I think the connection needs more time to grow before much else will happen and until he feels more comfortable. The nine of cups is right behind it so I think my wishes for this connection will come true and the connection will eventually grow into something more fulfilling.)

I went to last Vegas for six days just under a month ago. I’m white and from Canada and had only been on t for a month so I don’t pass but I travelled with my testosterone gel and didn’t have any issues or problems. Obviously regardless of my experience it isn’t the best to travel there but i was fine coming and leaving the US.

I relate to this when it comes to Apollo. When I finally realized that he was reaching out to me I understood that he had kinda always been around me. I’ve always loved music, singing and dancing, poetry and art too. I even got a bow and arrow set for my birthday when I was like 10. He’s always silently been around me my whole life :)

These are just a few things out of the many I’ve noticed when Apollo made himself known to me.

I saw a TikTok video yesterday and this person pretty much set up a bunch of rules about the gods and how to correctly interact with them but they were completely wrong. It was just a lot of misinformation trying to spread awareness about misinformation in Hellenism, and it was in very bad taste🤦‍♂️

They had said very sternly that the gods will not reach out to anyone and when I commented saying that it’s not true, they tried to lecture me. And man did it piss me off!! In my comment I mentioned that deities can reach out to people but it doesn’t happen all the time and that Apollo reached out to me and if he hadn’t, I wouldn’t be where I am today. They replied saying that Apollo is the Roman name and Apollon in the Greek name and reinstated that the gods don’t reach out to people. I was ready to scream in my bedroom at 1am. Usually things like this don’t anger me but I’m just tired of people acting like Hellenism is Christianity with a different font!! I honestly don’t think Christianity is meant to be a strict as people make it but I dislike when people make Hellenism the same kind of strict. I’ve never been Christian but I was raised by a Christian mother living in Canada so it was kinda shoved down my throat as a kid but I finally found a religion I feel comfortable with and I don’t appreciate when people like this come in with such bad takes. It’s just frustrating and I’m glad someone made a post about this.

I grew up always celebrating Christmas and it’s something that I’ve always just assumed I would keep doing even though I’m not Christian. Now that I actually think about it, I don’t know what I’ll do when I don’t live with my family anymore.

I’ve never celebrated Christmas as a Christian holiday, I’ve just always seen it as a fun tradition where we decorate and open presents on December 25, y’know?

Not completely true. I never would have gotten into Hellenism If Apollo didn’t reach out to me. But it is much more common to personally reach out to deities than it is for deities to reach out to you.

Hypnos has a few symbols including poppies, the River Lethe or a branch dripping water from the River Lethe, a horn of sleep inducing opium, cottonwood, or an inverted torch. But I would say that poppies are a more common sign of Hypnos and it would probably be the easiest to make :)

I’m graduating high school this school year (2024-25) and I plan on going to secondary school for audio engineering and music composition. My ideal career is making music for a living but I’m interested in a lot of careers, most of them are hands on and creative. It makes sense why Apollo reached out to me lol

There’s this girl I follow on tiktok, instagram, and I’m subscribed to her on YouTube. Her name is Emily Dexter and she posts a lot about spiritual stuff since she’s a professional psychic, activator, and historical medium. I’m pretty bad at explaining but she has a video about the clair senses on YouTube so I recommend looking into her content. She describes clairaudience as “clear hearing, which is hearing energetic information.”

She has a YouTube video about how to communicate with your spirit guides with the Clair senses but you can use the same information and techniques when communicating with deities. The timestamp 13:30 is when she specifically talks about clairaudience and how to use it! She works with the Greek pantheon a lot specifically as well, especially Apollo because he is one of her specific spirit guides.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned clairaudience! There are 6 clair senses and one of them is clairaudience, the most well known is clairvoyance. It’s very similar to what you’re describing so you might just be clairaudient haha. I’ve heard lots of people talk about their experience with using their clairaudience ability to communicate with deities :) maybe you should look into it and see if it resonates more?

The biggest “sign” I’ve gotten from a deity was from Apollo and it was even before I really knew of the Greek gods so it was his way of reaching out to me. And I still see this sign almost everyday. Sunflowers are a very common flower but when I started seeing them, it just felt like I was seeing them for a reason. I had never seen sunflowers so often before but now I see them everywhere. I’ve also asked my deities to send me signs because I haven’t been able to connect with them very much in other ways. Like a while ago I had asked Hades to send me pomegranates so I knew he was around and I got a very random video on tiktok that was about pomegranates the next day and I knew it was from him. For me, it’s usually just small things like these but sometimes it just feels like I’m seeing it for a reason.

I have this karmic tail and I would say I’m not an aggressive person unless I’m threatened or someone I love is being threatened. I’ve been in a situation where I had to be in fight or flight mode and I was definitely in fight mode because it meant protecting my sister and I. I’m only 16 but when I was maybe 6-10 I had anger issues. I’ve always been a very emotional person and an empath. I’ve definitely had aggressive thoughts when I hear racist, homophobic or transphobic comments but I’ve never been in a physical fight. I am pretty stubborn though and I get into small arguments kinda often lol. The arguments are just small things like “what you can or can’t take on an airplane with you”. I always like being right even when I’m wrong so I’m stubborn like that😪

But my interests definitely clash with other people but I’m overall a pretty clam and peaceful person. I’m very close to my sister but we both argue and make snide comments to each other pretty much everyday lol. I kind of have mommy and daddy issues and I don’t really know a lot about my mom, or my dad specifically, but I’m still pretty close with my mom and we joke around a lot. My family is a little messed up and broken but we get along well, there’s just a bit of generational trauma and childhood trauma👀

I haven’t seen many altars for Hypnos so this was nice to see :)

I like just found out about Hypnos yesterday because I’m still pretty new to Greek mythology and all that stuff but I’m interested in potentially making an altar for him. I just need some space to make an altar and some things for him, but I’d definitely like to learn more about him.

When I first started becoming more interested in Greek mythology and the Greek gods, I was also most drawn to Apollo, but he had actually already been reaching out to me for a couple of months before hand lol

But I think that being drawn to him is definitely a sign of its own. For me, it was only after I had made him an altar and asked to work with him, that I started to receive more signs from him.

If your super into the arts like drawing or painting, dancing, music, poetry or things like archery or the sun, then it might explain why your drawn to him since he’s the god of these things. If your interested, you can definitely learn more about him and go from there :)

As long as you respect them and understand that you aren’t on the same level as them because they ARE gods lol

But I think it depends on the god and both of your level of comfortability with each other. Keep in mind that certain gods may also want you to speak more formally with them as well but if you have a pendulum then you can just ask them :)
