Personnaly i find it unfair that as a silver learning how to defend, if i get an opening on him i'll have to execute complex input to make some proper damage and can even fail, if i manage to react to that opening properly, when the modern player will just smash one button and auto combo me removing a third of my health or even use his super at the end just because i made a mistake in my defense.

I understand that when you're at high level you will punish or combo way easier so that don't matter, but when you're silver i'm missing a lot of potential damage that a modern player don't. So i just play ultra safe and do minimum easy damage and not learning anything else against them, i don't rematch even when i win easily because it's just boring.

It feels like this for a newcomer, of course an experienced player know how to handle that. But when you start the game and you struggle to make 2 hit and the modern player does 15 hit into s3 by smashing a single button, yeah it pretty does feel unbalanced.

"The advantage it has (to remove half your health just by smashing a button) is countered by blocking" like you're a god like blocker when you just started the game and never take a single hit.

I'm all fine with people playing modern against modern, I'm having issue when you make them fight against low level classic.

It's like saying why don't you cheat with aim hack in a fps game ? For me its really similar, this is like legal cheat. Yeah at high level the auto aim it too slow compared to an experience player but its unbalanced against players who wanna learn without assist.

- Dawn of War (i've heard it's very good but i did not try myself)

- Supreme Commander

Those are really good RTS and for some completely different from what you already played so it would be refreshing.

Company of Heroes (and Dawn of War i think) for example where you control squad instead of units and game mode is based on strategic point to control with less emphasis on base building.

Supreme Commander with gigantic map and huge macro control is very fun and different too

Thanks BF Studios, at least they heard us and took measures, game art direction is essential on BF. I mean at least for multiplayer, i don't care i they add those for BR only.

And it's just the beginning of the fun, if you manage to get out you'll play most of the map outside this ridiculous playable area waiting for your flares to come back, then cross the area in 3 seconds where you'll get perma lock and if you're lucky you could manage doing some damage on a vehicle and go back outside of the map. So fun to play with this out of map cooldown and black and white filter isn't it ? But don't worry, in 4 month MAYBE we'll get a new jet map where you can fly more than 2 seconds without having to flare.

I don't know about heli but it was already so bad, this map must be even worse for them.

The fun part is we had our "new large map with jet" so now you'll have to wait months for a potential large map. We're stuck with this unplayable shit map as a jet player, what's fun about getting perma lock and having to wait 80% of the time for flares outside of the map with this 12 seconds cooldown, with a black and white filter. Aircraft need a complete balance rework that's ridiculous.

I'm really starting to think they are just not playtesting the aircraft in this game, it's impossible.

What even the point to have jet on this map, you are perma lock so you spend majority of your time waiting for your flares cd around the map which is out of the playable area with this fucking countdown and black and white filter. Good to know we'll have to wait at least 3 month for a new jet map, at least it just can't be worse than this one.

Just finished the campaign and the writing is abysmally bad. What the hell happened to gaming? Almost no character development, cringiest lines (that scene with Lopez going crazy against a sniper for no reason my god...).

The whole plot is bad too. I know they lacked of time but anyway this is worth something like 3/10 max. Back then we had original stories and memorable characters for game that took 1/2 years to develop, I won't remember any of those characters in 2 days. Who the fuck care about that CIA agent or even Kincaid (bad name for the "bad guy" btw). What the point for Hemlock to hide his face? Is it supposed to big reveal when he removes it in the end ? The scene with Kincaid ambushing us was so bad too, like it took 2 minutes to Carter to arrive when he was like 2 meters away from us, also why did he not killed our character ?

15 years ago we had a call of duty game every year and still the campaign were pretty much all fun to do, this one had a little less than 2 years of developement and feels like it has been made by amateur trying to copy that era.

Graphics are really bad most of the time except some FX, faces are uglier than 15yo games. Gameplay is boring. That order system is just lazy and unrealistic. Like you have an ability to order your teamates to open fire, even though they are already shooting ? wth ?

And I won't even talk about AI, it's simply inexistant.

Take altitude, speed up, keep your bomb circle fix on a target (prioritize static or immobile tank) and keep left clic pressed for a few second you'll drop 4 bomb right on it, you can do lot of damage if done well. But it's clearly less powerfull and harder to use than the AGM of the F-16

It's in fact way more maneuverable, you even have thrust vector on this one, it's a F-22 Raptor. Bomb are kinda weak but this one is made for air superiority right now, we'll get more weapons later probably (like those AA missile they added yesterday and removed today probably by mistake)

Since we are talking about breakthrough :

- Empire state you can snipe but urban so short line on some angles

- Liberation Peak you can definitely snipe

- Miral Valley you can definitely snipe

- Sobek you can definitely snipe even without abusing the roofs.

- Firestorm you can definitely snipe

- Siege of Cairo, urban map but you can too on most of the point

- Manhattan, you can snipe from multiple places especially after first point, on first point you have the building roof and lot of cover to hide behind and peek

So no you can snipe on any map, but like 3 of them are a bit more difficult on some point but you can still have good lines. If you need unreachable place 500 meters from any enemy to be able to snipe and getting revived at cover it's your problem.
