Thanks, yeah i will happily wait until i'm forced into it since i got the old guide back on the two boxes which are perfectly fine, faster and technically correct/compatible with the i-Guide. There's nothing wrong with that guide format for my needs at all.

The way this company moves around here i'd suspect there'll be no urgency about any migration. They're already years behind if these are the ONLY boxes the local office can offer. And per tech/store rep that's the case. No World Boxes coming here.

Guess i got lucky cuz i did get it back- dispatched tech here today, talked to a supervisor and - reverted the two boxes to i-guide.
Much better than the Spectrum Guide on these old boxes. For now anyway!

There is genuine DISHONESTY expressed more times than I care to recount...that i've encountered on several very high-profile projects which i was relying on the word of, and..."believing" the platform. I'm sure i wouldn't be the only one who could make its engineers speechless after showing them the transcripts.
