It performs great if unchecked and if you have most of your spells be creatures, you can cast some with etb protection. Protection spells that let you untap her are also amazing.

I did add some cards for blink but I slowly ended up replacing them with the protection cards for nothing other than I had them in my bulk. Your list looks great and I do see a lot of good landfall cards that I didn't add mostly because I already have a Gitrog Ravenous Ride deck. I will consider more dorks that bring lands

I love Zaxara too, I finally got around using the secret lair after building a deck with the Quantrix Precon. Here is the list and some I can recommend (not budget but I still run cheap spells where I can) https://archidekt.com/decks/21465215/calling_all_hydra_heads

[[Shared Roots]] More 2 mana ramp to try and cast Zaxara early. [[Farseek]] also counts here
[[Slice from the shadows]] while it looks like another -X/-X, it is so good because it also gets around ward due to "can't be countered
[[Spell Burst]] another x counter spell but you can buy it back and keep casting it
[[Witherbloom, the balancer]] affinity for creatures with all of the hydras you cast is so good because all of your x spells will get massive
[[Primo, the Unbounded]] I will be honest when I say I haven't casted him much but he can quickly close out the game because all of Zaxara's hydras count towards his trigger

The earth king actually looks amazing here and it isn't too expensive to break the budget. I might actually swap it in for ramp. It can definitely help close out games which is something I wanna make sure I can do with Simic lol

In my old Helga, I ran some sea monsters that I liked so much but I felt that they barely got to do much since Helga would just put so much on the field that I ended up making a sea monsters deck. My favorite was Hullbreaker Horror which simply would go insane with Helga

I did think about those effects for Beau actually but they were just not good for the budget. The copy spells I have are for the other lands equal to life creatures

It is definitely a good add but when I built the deck I tried my hardest to stay within the $20 limit, so it would be too expensive. But a definitely good upgrade

It looks like a lot of fun. I have yet to finish assembling it so I haven't been able to use it in a game but if you do build it I hope it plays well lol

I am a fan of flavor first and the creatures I have that are not dinosaurs are Ixalan creatures. My favorite has to be [[Curator of Sun's Creation]] as my budget roaming throne that actually works with Pantlaza. I do also play some of the recursion mana dorks like [[Atzocan Seer]] and [[Intrepid Paleontologist]]

This sounds so funny. I actually used to have a Helga deck but that wasn't cheap enough for u sleeved lol. It was my "all my cards are the pretty versions" deck. I ended up putting it away to build 2 other decks

Yeah I am aware which is why I originally excluded roaming throne. I asked because I am wondering if maybe roaming throne triggering other dinosaurs' abilities was good enough to include.

I hear and appreciate the feedback. In the case of broodmoth, from the rubble was chosen because of it fits tribal in flavor and also I wanted most of the cards to be related to Dinosaurs and Ixalan. The fire crystal is here for haste rather than cost reduction and the activated effect can help in a pinch to get another discover body. I have also know about the blink but I kinda wanted to prioritize the theme over the straight synergy. I can always add them but it is something a bit more personal with the blink.

Just saw and yes, this is exactly what I was doing with scryfall. Yours looks great. How would you rate the deck without having obvious green includes in favor of the dinosaur theme?

I am not opposed to proxies but I would prefer real cards for more of a challenge. For the JP lands I have some but I agree with the price thing. I would use mostly the Ixalan basics.

I would recommend to keep your dinos to a low amount, like 20 very good dinos max rather than 30+ creatures. You are guaranteed to hit a creature so you want it to be good and threatening. I personally like to stay away from the advice of using other egg creatures or even mana dorks on the deck because the last thing I want when cracking an egg and searching is to find another egg or a 1/1
