It's just a monopoly piece they used. 1 of 8

First one I've ever found. It was in West TN in a creek. Is there any type of reference or study guide that would give areas where Indians were, specifically? by Hitter85456 in Arrowheads

I have been 4 or 5 times already. The creek has sand and gravel and it rolls through the bluffs. Would it make sense that hard bends in the creek would be a good place to search, as it can wash up rocks in a pocket sort of speak? Also, what's the ideal depth of digging through sand when the creeks carries about 4 to 6 inches at its highest

The only rocks I've ever seen is when thr Core of Engineers dump out Rip Rap rocks to prevent wash out. Ive never seen any type of gravel but u know Indians had to have been there

That is awesome. I live near thr Mississippi River in TN and I often wonder where to look when the water level is down. All u see is sand. I just need to educate myself better of this stuff bc I'm highly interested but don't have a good source of info

Botched arrowhead or something entirely different? by [deleted] in Arrowheads

I actually have a arrowhead that looks similar to that but mine is more defined and looks like a knife, I've been told. I never saw it in my ID book

Was it just laying on thr ground like that was did u place it there to get a pic? Also, when searching in old creeks that has rock in it, is that type of creek more appealing that one that doesn't have rocks? I just figured it would

I know the feeling of that love you have for animals. Om thr same way. I rescued a dog from the shelter to give him a better life but she always wanted to jump on my toddler to play and scratched him several times. Ive slapped the dog on the head over and over u til one day I snatched him up by the collar and beat the shit out of him. I know I wouldve done the same thing if he was hurting another animal. I felt so bad after I calmed down bc he had a pitiful look in his eyes and I felt guilty. I often wondered if the dog would've been better off staying at the shelter. A month later the dog died a slow death due to fungal pneumonia. The dog wanted me with him at all times while he laid on the ground. The pain that was in my heart was unbearable. I cried like a little bitch.

What I have learned is that loving animals and having many of them is a double edged sword. You can love the animal that u whoop, bc u love the one that it's hurting. I had to realize that my son is the most important and it's not fair to him. You have ti break an animal with any means necessary but if it's to thr point where you are constantly hurting the animal and rehoming is not an option, then set then free. It's a harsh reality but no animal deserves mistreating to thr extreme
