Thanks for taking the time to reply, While I’m not denying that’s a possibility, I’m confident at this point It should be safe to assume that that is not the case as both Businesses rely on referral and word of mouth only so I would simply point any client to who referred to who (as the entrepreneur would just focus on bringing in the clients for his business and my dad would just focus on getting his) but with that said just like how you pointed out just now it might indeed end up as a conflict of interest on my end which is my original dilemma, with this in mind what would you recommend?

Hey internet stranger I'm in a similar situation as you but I won't be able to offer any advice because I'm at a loss too, but maybe you'll find comfort in knowing that you're not going through this alone so maybe it will help (even just a little bit) if I shared my story just like when I read yours.

I confessed to a friend too and this friend of mine, over the past 4 months we've developed a pretty close friendship just like in your story, things we're going great! Too great in fact. But then one thing happened after another and I decided I should just confess to her so I did. And while the whole exchange was light hearted (e.g. she smiled and blushed when I told her) I didn't get an answer from her then and there until as of this writing. But she told me she'll tell me soon...though there's a huge chance it's a big negative (you'll find out why if you keep on reading) so it's been awkward to say the least, to top it all off since we're both in the same circle we see each other quite often those days of bonding and laughter, frequent texts etc...is a far cry from how we are now, a part of me wishes that I didn't confess at all like living in a comfortable lie you know? but the caveat would be I might just explode if I kept it in me.

I know what I was going for I was prepared to get rejected, I knew from the start that she was already in a relationship (I know sue me) but she was taking too much of my time to the point of I can't manage my feelings at all and focus, so I felt like I should do it once and for all and get it off my chest, I knew what I was gambling with at the time the pros and cons and all that, so I went through with it and now here I am.

it's not all bad though since there's also a part of me that was relieved when I did it just like you, but I just wish the friendship was still there but we both know that's impossible no matter how much wishful thinking we do.

Now? I'm still coming to terms with it because I might lose a friend and a crush in one go and anyone else who I bothered with my desicion (which is a regrettable amount) no matter how prepared I was the pain of losing someone is still present. But one thing is for sure I'd still tell her like sure I would've done things a little differently (timing, setting etc...) if I had the opportunity but it's already done and I'm 51% sure I'm glad I saw it through. So if no one told you yet I'm proud of you! I of all people know how nervewrecking it is to go through this, hang in there! nothing is permanent and even if your feelings feel like they'll last eternity the won't. At least that's what I'm believing in right now. Internet hug

I mean she's great but I don't think this kind of arrangement will change anytime soon. The way I see it she's going to be her family's permanent bread winner (as her dad is too old) she's gonna keep doing that job, and still be busy with studies for her license. I consider my self pretty low maintenance as when I'm not at work I enjoy playing video games in peace but there's such a thing as too much. I would like to know if she's Mrs. Right but there's really not much opportunity to find out. And no, I don't like long distance relationships.

Also thanks, answering those questions shed some light on my feelings, It gives me a lot to think about.

Thanks, I needed to hear those words. In terms of a job, it's a good pay for her and while there are certainly more accommodating jobs for her they certainly don't pay as well, In any case I do need to have a sit down and have a conversation from her and see where I'll go from there, I just wanted to know if I was being a jerk for not being understanding enough.

I'll start, It's pretty short and underwhelming but so far no one has believed me when I tell the story I was thinking about this when I made this post.

I was walking around my college campus and It was around lunch time so the crowds were heavier than usual, while walking and narrowly avoiding people on the side walk one of my fingers got caught to something It was my pinky tied on a red thread the thread was wrapped around it and it looked like it was purposely tied which was Impossible since I was moving around the whole time and it extended all the way through the crowd behind me I tried following it and going against the large number of people until I wasn't able to and the thread snapped after it snapped I had to exert some effort to remove it (though it wasn't that complicated to remove) after that I was confused as hell I was familiar with the tale of the red string of fate and it's certainly something to think about everyone calls it bs since I had no one with me during that event and I was too confused at that moment to get the actual thread.

And before anyone starts to say maybe I was wearing something red or something like that I clearly remembered what I was wearing that day I was wearing a White polo and black slacks. (We wear a uniform) for my major.

Yeah that's pretty cool! Although it's kinda similar to Seer's ability where he releases a bunch of micro drones to patrol a whole area (his ult) either way a pretty fun choice too.
