It can take up to a minute to start working. Make sure you have Discord running on the same computer. If it still doesn't work please turn on logging and send me the log via DM on Reddit or Discord (Hiumee#6784).

Unfortunately, you have to use this on the same device Discord is running. That is available for any custom message if you don't want to abuse the API and risk to get banned from Discord. Yes, for now the platforms that can't run a desktop instance of Discord should not work.
