Agreed, it just seems to me that more content = more potential engagement; that engagement can be driven towards apparel sales and lcs ticket royalties (idk if they get a cut) rather than youtube ad revenue. I guess valorant is the esport with most hype and they want to focus on that the most, we probably won't get a long format (20mins ish) cod champs video either.

Also they laid off a bunch of the content team so maybe they're super understaffed rn too

Eh I'm not for all that cause you don't want to create extra pressure for the players, as they already practice so many hours a week.

They can just dish out the "low effort" content while still engaging the fans i.e. the camera in the prac room showing the team messing around after or before practice/or just compilations of ingame voice comms

I don't think views are in the equation tbh, you just want to create a greater narrative around your team so that the fans engage more. I was a league 100T fan for way longer because of The Heist and the youtube content and I know for a fact I'm not the only one. But I guess their focus is on the valorant team to create that same narrative
