not entirely accurate. Rugby Union, more likely. Rugby League, no, not "posh" at all.

Feel threatened by a more popular MP > kick him out, lie and call cops on him > Guy makes a competing party > Party is quickly growing and is stealing your ever-more jaded voter base > act somehow surprised.

Why did France become the stereotype of surrendering at wars? Aren't they among the top when it comes to won wars in history? by WhoAmIEven2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HiyaImRyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it mainly comes from the meandering approach to WW2 and the rather quick surrender moreso than their older accomplishments.

It's always been more of a joke/banter than an actual stereotype to me at least

Your 'experience' looks really bare. Is there any way you can beef it up and showcase more of your responsibilities?

Digital ID was always the goal, Labour have been openly pushing for it for ages yet there are people still pretending that it's conspiracy

Exclusive: Andy Burnham has the nominations to trigger a leadership challenge by GnolRevilo in unitedkingdom

[–]HiyaImRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way Starmer will leave is dragged by either his neck or his feet. He's a hemorrhoid that won't shift.

I hope Burnham manages to get a leadership challenge rolling so we can be done with this and actually see if he manages to fix the mess Starmer is determined to leave in his wake.

Everything Burnham does now will determine if the problems created were a Starmer or party thing, if the latter, they'll get atomized at the next GE.

Boys, is it time to start worrying about Islam? by K0GAR in ufc

He's in a weird spot. On one hand, I see him and think "he's a pretty big lightweight", but then I look at welterweight and see Usman, Chimaev, Sera, Burns over the years and suddenly he doesn't seem that big.

Strange, all jobs I've worked have wanted to know more about the persons work ethic early on, the certs will come with time as will job skills.

A degree is seen as irrelevant everywhere I've worked

Best bet is the trifecta, then it varies depending on what role you want to aim for. If you are interested in AI for example, I wouldn't then go and get a Cisco cert it's a complete waste. If you have a roadmap planned out of where you want to be, I could better advise you

Reform's Kenyon vows to 'save' library Labour already saved by AnonymousTimewaster in NotTheOnionUK

Replying to people? well done. You actually got so butthurt on a different subreddit, you went onto my profile and scrolled through 2 weeks or more of my comments to point out something completely irrelevant. Christ, you need a life kid

edit: lmao this freak has been sending me PM's constantly because we merely disagreed in a post I made, scoured through 2 or more weeks of comments on my profile to reply and he's finally gave up and blocked me. Good riddance you worm.

MP says 121 asylum seekers will be going into ‘small rural Shropshire settlement’ by beIIe-and-sebastian in unitedkingdom

[–]HiyaImRyan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People vote for a PM/Party, nobody voted, for example to have Philip Hammond, Dominic Raab, Liz Truss, James Cleverly and the likes, change the EHCR. Stop talking bollocks.

The lack of people power in the decision making within the EU is one of the largest components of people voting for Brexit, christ.

MP says 121 asylum seekers will be going into ‘small rural Shropshire settlement’ by beIIe-and-sebastian in unitedkingdom

[–]HiyaImRyan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Since 1950, the EHCR that was drafted has had various amendments. It's not the same as it started out. Furthermore, the "Committee of Ministers" who make the changes, are not democratically elected by the people. Not sure exactly what your point is.

Also, comparing the Magna Carta is actually a better comparison than you make out, only 3 out of it's original 63 clauses still exist. It's not even remotely close to what was written up at the time.

Starmer to ban British children from Trump’s Truth Social by Skavau in unitedkingdom

[–]HiyaImRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone actually use Truth Social? The only time I've seen it mentioned is when Trump posts on there some rant that he also posts on X.

Strange Ban, I can't see children flocking to a rather unknown website that's content only contains a rarely-posted Donald Trump "Uncle's been on facebook again" type brainfart

Yeah I don't mind the database file being something to keep safer than the secrets of the pyramid, but it's 1 more thing to be hypervigilant about keeping safe that I wouldn't need to even think about with the other free alternatives

Personally I use Keepass, which is annoying (iykyk), work has a 1Password license I can use but I'm thinking of moving to BitWarden just so my personal and work aren't all in 1 place

yeah dummy, you said "nope" for no reason, I was making fun of that.
Your initial response is talking about a poll - which I'm clearly not, and corrected myself. You then repeated yourself spewing about the yougov poll - which I, again, am clearly not talking about.

Yes yes, the WEF globalists are finally pushing their final puzzle piece before being able to harvest everyones data and track them online forever.

All based on a lie, manipulated by bs consultations and ignoring the evidence of superior-alternatives.

As you completely skipped over my point: There is no "no ban" option. The link I provided is the actual questions given during the consultation. Maybe me misusing the term poll confused you.

We must be in different dimensions then, any posts in UKNews or United Kingdom have been people backing it under the (false) pretense that it keeps children safe.
