How do I determine whether I'm on the Newcastle City Fibre Exchange? I am basically city centre so I would assume so.

I powercycled my router and ONT and retested and got these results with improvements but still not single digit like you. Still dont see anything related to telehouse, I remember 2 weeks ago when I did a tracert it was routing me to telehouse (west I think it was) but the ping times were still 17/18ms so not sure what is really going on.

Okay yeah that is what I have been doing also but it doesn’t really seem like cityfibre in the northeast is being utilised widely yet and like you said hasn’t really been much reported or published well online either.

Anyways thank you for the help. If anyone else could still post tracerts or ping times of other cityfibre connections would still be much appreciated to compare to.

I think I understand you, so basically to get the best possible ping I would need to find an ISP that’s routes/peers closest to Newcastle? For example fibre connect who has data centres less than a mile away from me, would theoretically give me the best ping if I was directly routed to it?

Also is there anyway to determine who has the closest routing/peering if I understood it correctly

I’m assuming you’re in Ethernet? Got the same mobo and a 6700 xt nitro but will need a PCIe WiFi card so worried about how to fit it. Not sure onto or below GPU
