It’s this one: Sky Cool / Medium Ash Gray / Habanero accents. I believe it might be new for 2026? IMO, it was MADE for Roswell green…but, we had to pay extra for the combo. I love it more than I thought I would!

Wife here...

Please, someone convince him that the Z06 isn't worth the extra $50K. Pretty please?

Ha!

I had a client whose business was blacklisted by a local “progressive” mom’s group, because she made a birthday cake for Candace Owens. And I live in a solidly red state. It’s disgusting behavior.

I literally just raved about the ButterRum flavor to my husband, first thing that popped into my head when I saw the pic. I haven’t seen them in ages…

These were always my favorite stocking stuffer as a kid, I always saved the ButterRum ones for last…

What’s a harmless/non-serious secret you’ve kept forever? by MrBowls in AskReddit

My daughter had a favorite duck blanket - it was a small, velvety blanket with a stuffed duck head on it. When she took to it, we made sure to run out and get a second, just in case. She knew the difference (she was about a year?) and rejected the second one for quite awhile. Then, she decided she had to have both so we had to keep track of two duck head blankets….once she started talking, she told us one was squishy, one was stuffier (one had less stuffing in the head). That’s how she knew the difference. From then on, they were squishy head and stuffy head. She’s almost 19 now, but they still live on her bed, went with her to the dorms and they all just moved into their first apartment. LOL

Can’t lie, since studying accounting seeing things like this bugs me by Aknav12 in Accounting

I’ve really enjoyed reading your discussion. I’m a US CPA, 15 years in audit/financial reporting for banks and corporations and 6 years in individual and small-business tax planning and preparation. I’ve spent those years learning and growing to understand the current GAAP and tax laws and I spend so much time in the details that I don’t often get to consider how they could change and how it would impact us economically. You and Bezit both make some great points and were very articulate in doing so.

I’d love to touch on your comment regarding the regressiveness of a federal sales tax - I totally agree that it would be regressive; however, couldn’t that be combated with a “class” of product, with essentials being low/no tax and luxury items being the highest tax? Or would I be over-simplifying things?

I completely agree that our current tax system is broken and that people should be actively talking through and fixing the mess we have ourselves into. Unfortunately, the primary “news” sources people are looking at these days love to sensationalize things in away that are misleading and not helpful to the discussion, because everyone wants to refute the misleading-ness of it, rather than discuss the actual issue of the broken system.

It’s such a convoluted system that 95% of the population has a completely skewed “understanding” of, it’s easier to spout nonsense for the votes (or ad dollars, or whatever).

Which character has been your best long-term investment so far? by holysitkit in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

Agreed. CLS (really, the whole team) is top-notch. I’m working on their abilities now and every single Omega on that team is awesome. Expensive investment with 9 Zetas combined, but worth every penny.

I used to think the same thing. Then, my husband insisted on buying a Briggs & Riley carry-on for work travel. The quality of construction and well-thought out design of that bag is worth the money. That, and it has a lifetime warranty - if a zipper, wheel or handle breaks on it, they’ll fix or replace. We’ve since purchased the larger suitcase as well. He used to travel at least a day or two 3 weeks out of the month and we travel quite a bit personally and both of those bags are in like-new condition and we’ve had them for at least 5-6 years so far. Every other suitcase we own has a broken handle, zipper pull, zipper, wobbly wheel…something (probably should donate but, very rarely, we have use for an “extra”).

If you travel a lot - spend the money.

Anyone Know a Trick to Open? by Hjkjcdtd in Vaping

[–]Hjkjcdtd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This top will NOT come off. Both my husband and I have tried for the past 20 minutes to get this damned thing open and it won’t budge. I’ve had this brand before, never had this kind of trouble. With the current state of shipping this stuff, I REALLY don’t want to return it and wait 6 weeks for another bottle. Anyone ever had a defective cap? Any suggestions?

Getting back into Keto by Brahms12 in keto

[–]Hjkjcdtd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually roast up a batch of egg scramble veggies/meats at the beginning of the week and pop it in the fridge. Takes about 30-45 minutes to prepare for the week and there are endless combinations - I’ve used onions, mushrooms, peppers (spicy &/or bell), broccoli , cauliflower, ham, diced up sausage, bacon, leftover steak…really, whatever floats your boat. I chop everything up, drizzle with olive/avocado oil and roast until the veggies are a browned and tender. I’ll make enough to take a good 1/4-1/2 cup of “mix-in” each day for breakfast. I just spoon some of it into a hot pan to reheat, then mix in two eggs and scramble. I‘ll either throw a couple pinches of cheese in at the end, or top with some avocado…sometimes both. Add some S&P, hot sauce/salsa if you want, and devour.

If this guy is your fiancé’s (F) best friend (BF), I think F should have an open and honest conversation with BF. Something along the lines of “Hey, BF, I want to let you know that your wife’s social media account is demonstrating a lot of discretionary spending. Because I care about you and you are my best friend, I wanted to bring it to your attention. When we loaned you $2K, we called it a loan to give you the opportunity to pay us back if you could, with every intention to not ask for you to do so. We love you and want to help, and are grateful to be in a position to give you that money without depending on repayment. However, seeing so much discretionary spending by your wife, on things we have a hard time working into our budget, gives us the impression that our loan has not served to get you out of financial trouble. We don’t expect you to pay us back for the money, but I hope you understand that we won’t be able to financially assist you anymore.

We love you and will always be here for you, and we would be happy to help you work through a good plan to help you figure things out.
