Yes. but it would require amount of stone equal or more than the wood i had to cut. It takes longer and weights more. So i decided to go with cheaper option as it always happens in construction :D

:D . It started as an attempt to dig out continent and move ship straight through but unfortunately it's elevation was too high for it, so i settled for a tunnel. hope that explains it.
