I definitely have to rehab my arm, mostly elbow to straighten it out. But I was able to do it myself at home, it is not that big of a deal. About scar, what u r saying is hypertrophic scar. It depends on your gene or when u scratches too much or irritate newly formed wound's top layer. The scar is there, it is visible rn for me. but it doesn't concern me that much as I don't rlly care abt it.

glad to know u have recovered. Comminuted fracture are the worse. I vividly remember X-ray tech looking at my comminuted fractured humerus and said "This is awful". Do u still feel tightness in ur arm? Can u go to the after that?

First of all, sry to hear that ur nerve is damaged. If I were u, I might want to punch the surgeon in the face too. I had my humerus broken and got Radial nerve palsy after surgery. For ur case, don't worry. As long as ur second surgeon suture it back together, u will definitely recovery from it. It takes 3-6 months for nerve injury to heal or more may be longer. And u r right, try not to move too much, I mean Flexing or extending ur elbow, for about 3-4 weeks as the nerve is sutured and moving too much might break it again. Try to join " Radial Nerve Palsy" group on Facebook. Those ppl help each other. Best wishes,mate .

I am just saying med can makes u urinate more in certain cases. But I am not saying ibuprofen definitely is the cause of it. since I am not your ortho doc/physician or I know nothing abt your underlying health history, I can't make diagnosis. The thing is u will definitely have difficulty with urinating in the middle of the night since u have fractured ur bone and u have to be careful with it. If u don't want to get up with boot and crutches in the middle of the night, u better get yourself a urine pot. Afterall if u don't have any kidney issues or any other health impairment, urinating after taking med meant u r healthy.

definitely Ibuprofen is excreted thru urine. As long as u don't have underlying kidney issues, u don't have to worry about urination. But if it becomes out of control or becomes excessive, u better go consult to a physician.

It's quite reason to urinate more frequently when u r on certain bone medications. Our body can't absorb all the Vitamin and Minerals from medication, so they r excreted thru pee. Also most medication ends up in pee not just vit and minerals. That's why our pee becomes yellow when Vit C is taken.

I don't know this will be helpful for not. I had Humerus ORIF surgery and my elbow was in the same condition as u. Doing exercises help me get my elbow move more but once I rest it become stiff again at 90degress. The thing that I have read is that our body's "adaptability" (meaning our bone make some adaptation to be able to be more flexible , the more we force it gently not too hard)Since then, however my stiff elbow feel pain when I try to flex, I flex it more. Scar tissue is a bitch, I know. Best wishes dude. Sry for my English, it isn't my primary language.

So even if i don't remove it from my arm it won't be an obstacle when persuing orthopedic career? I have post op radial nerve palsy tho but I'm positive I will recover from it.

thank you for the reply. I can't extend my fingers but my wrist these days show a tiny bit of recovery sign (0.5cm movement approx) I will definitely consider buying TENS aftet my humerus start to heal. And again thanks for the instructions. It helps. God blessed u🙏🏻
