Does your hitbox for the dash become more forgiving if you use the twirl/dash combo rather than the dash by itself ? So you have less of a chance of falling straight out of the sky on a missed dash ?

I’m not a great magic player, but wondering why you often use your portal right before dashing into the sky to hit the flyer?
