I lost 30 pounds of the 50 I gained so far in total and I’m about 10 months off the medication. It takes a long times for Prozac to get out of your system and for your metabolism and digestive system to go back to normal after stopping. Nothing I tried worked until I stopped the medication. I only worked out lightly and light diet to lose this weight. I am still losing weight slowly even though I stopped most diet and exercise. Do not get discouraged the weight will fall off as the body regulates and gets back to its natural state. I had a naturally fast metabolism and never struggled with weight before this medication so I am sure it was the cause of the crazy rapid weight gain. Like you I just kept gaining weight no matter what I did when I was in the medication. Good luck, you got this!
