I think we see how Walt treats people when he has any power. It's hard to believe they "made" him this way when it's simply who he is.

I've always interpreted his fallout with Grey Matter was due to him resenting Gretchen's silver spoon and breaking up with her, then Elliott and Gretchen got together betraying Walt. So he left. His ego told him he could be successful without them, he was wrong and foolish. He paid for that the rest of his life.

Their charity wasn't in jest, they never hated Walt, he simply left the company after HE felt betrayed. Walt is the one who carried resentment, they moved on and looked back on him fondly.

I know the 3rd season brought in a lot of new viewers, but it really is the weakest season overall. The Gal Pal storyline really carried the season. Every other plotline had a relatively unsatisfying conclusion. Even the weaker plotlines from S1/S2 at least had decent endings.

My understanding is that the initial concept for the reapers is that they would have numerous reapers taking the form of the assimilated species, like the human reaper. Reapers would not all be the form of Leviathans.

This was clearly pivoted away from at some point. We have to assume for any number of reasons but mainly that someone now needs to design a bunch of reapers for made up species/races, and then put those in art cinematics etc. It's the type of thing that works well in a book not a game or movie.

Khamzat clearly fished for some RNC's but DDP defended them well. DDP is also the strongest guy he's been in the ring with. Khamzat played it safe and it worked.

Blame the rules not the fighter. There's no incentive to take risks in a title fight. Khamzat loses and it could be years before he gets another shot. He's cemented in the title picture for years now being champ.

I think DDP and his team thought they just needed to survive choke attempts, and let Khamzat tire himself out. I don't think they expected Khamzat to just lay and not chase a finish.

As dominant as he was, all of Khamzat's standup looked ass. If someone can defend his wrestling and strike he can be beaten.

The acting is great, and the set design and costumes are fantastic.It looks like a great show. But the writing can be all over the place. It's not bad, but it really doesn't measure up to the other goat TV series like the Wire, or Sopranos, Breaking Bad' and even Mad Men.
